Keith Thurman vs Shawn Porter Boxing Odds - The*Barclays Center in*Brooklyn, New York hosts*Showtime Boxing this*Saturday, June 25th and the main event of the card sees top rated welterweights Keith Thurman and Shawn Porter clash for Thurman's WBA world title.

The two men are in the top three in the weight class according to the respected Transnational Boxing Rankings Board, and the fight has been a long time in the making. The first meeting between the two was scheduled for earlier this year but was postponed when Thurman was in a car accident. This came after a prolonged period of negotiations to make th eifght, so the delays mean that both men have been out of the ring for roughly a year. In their last outings, Thurman stopped rugged Luis Collazo in the 7th round of their bout and Porter won a unanimous decision over Adrien Broner.

Thurman is considered the better technical boxer, and he would seem to have a reach and height advantage when the two men stand together. Thurman is undefeated at 26-0, and he will enter the title defense against Porter as a favorite.

Porter (26-1-1) is a former world champion, and he is looking to regain a piece of the belt. In his lone loss, to England's Kell Brook, Thurman failed to solve another highly technical boxer and the third member of the weight class' top three. Here Porter will attempt to solve a similar puzzle.
