UFC FN 90 Dos Anjos vs Alvarez Odds - Thursday, July 7th sees UFC Fight Night 90 hit the*MGM Grand Garden Arena on*Las Vegas, Nevada with a card headlined by the Lightweight title bout between challenger Eddie Alvarez and champion Rafael Dos Anjos.

Dos Anjos was scheduled to face Conor McGregor in his last outing, but he pulled out of that fight due to injury. To Dos Anjos, he must look back at that lost opportuity to face McGregor with a lot of regret. He won the 155 lb title back in March of 2015 with a win over Anthony Pettis, and he successfully defended it with a 66 second TKO over Donald Cerrone, A win here would mark the second defense of his belt and put his next defense at right around the two tear mark as champion. Dos Anjos needs a win here to catapult himself into the ranks of memorable UFC titleholders.

In Alvarez, he gets a rugged fighter who is a relative newcomer to the UFC and has gone*2-1 against the toughest of competition (Anthony Pettis, Gilbert Melendez and Donald Cerrone). Alvarez has an excellent 27-4 record and he has been a champion and a top, crowd pleasing attraction at every level of his career so far. He also has an "x" factor that sees him find a way to win. Since he spent a large portion of his career outside the UFC, it is unusual to find Alvarez such an underdog in a*fight, and he may warrant a look as a live dog. Do not be surprised if Alvarez finds a way to win.
