Ronda Rousey Returns - The UFC and their President Dana White announced that Ronda Rousey Returns at UFC 207 to face UFC women's bantamweigfht champion Amanda Nunes. The fight will go down at the T-Mobile Arena in*Las Vegas, Nevada on December 30th.

Rousey, the former champion and the woman that put women's MMA in the UFC and in the main stream will be fighting for the first time in thirteen months. In November of 2015 she was KO'd by Holly Holm with a kick to the face that was heard around the world. Nunes beat the woman wh bet the woman wh beat Rousey, as Holm lost the belt to Meisha Tate and Tate lost it to Nunes.

Rousey had been promised a title shot upon her return, and the UFC is holding up that promise. Nunes deserves the belt for a tremendous performance against Tate, whom she finished in three minutes with a rear naked choke. In the scope of things, Rousey's wipe out of Tate was 4 minutes long.

Ronda Rousey Returns
Rousey has opened up a 2 to 1 favorite in the fight over Nunes. Physically Rousey is still a great athlete in her prime, and a layoff can help heal nagging injuries. It is her mental state and how she recovers from the loss and presents herself to the public again that makes Rousey's return far more interesting.

A win for Rousey should see her back on course for big money fights with Holm and possibly Cristiane "Cyborg" Justino. It will be interesting to see how Rousey does in a hard fought fight. The question is has the rest of the women's division caught up to her or is she going to be back to her dominant self.
