Default Grinding it out with the Grizzlies

Randolph & Ennis in the starting lineup helped turn things around for the Grizziies who shot 50 percent from the field. Spurs shot 57% from the cherry stripe and had
12 to. Parker, Ginobili, Lee & Gasol combined 2-16 shooting.

Parker bounces back but not enough to win.

I like Grizz chances to win the series now if fouls are called somewhat evenly...the team with most allstar caliber usually wins a series anyway. Grizz have two in Conley & Gasol.....Spurs only Kawhi. The rest of Spurs look old n washed up...Mills being the only bright spot

That won't happen, once they return to SA the Spurs will get the calls like they did the first two games. BTW, Fizdale has done a great job with the Grizz this year

I was very surprised to see this, from what I've been able to gather, this has nothing to do with his coaching and everything to do with his relationship with Marc Gasol, apparently the two of them don't get along for whatever reason, and it all came to a head the other night when Gasol was benched in the fourth quarter against Brooklyn. I just checked the box score of that game and Gasol was 6-17 from the field and a -17 for the game, so he wasn't playing well and Fizdale decided to sit him, which Gasol didn't take kindly to. You know the old saying, if the coach and star player don't get along, the coach is the one who's gone. Fizdale is a good coach and I'm sure he'll land on his feet somewhere, I don't think this will be his last head coaching opportunity
