The #4 Show the World turned out to be a hidden gem.
Would've been nice to get it over with early.
    As it is right now:

    Streak -12
    14-2-0-0 $11.40
    68.60 ÷ 16 = 4.29

    16 chances left,sometimes it only takes 1.

    Yesterday:
CD R5,#8 Iconic, ran to form, made his move to within a 1/2 length of the winner, had an 1/8 mile to go by,didn't,and ran a good 2nd.
SA R6,#7 Chatterman unexpectedly went straight to the lead with a change in running style, would he have been better off settling back a bit,and then making a run later like the horse had been doing, the added 1/16 seemed perfect for that strategy, anyway their experiment didn't work out.

    1 2nd,1 3rd,1 scratch & no progress.
    10 plays left

    20-3-0-0 $32.40

    Parx R6

#2- Magnolia Mountain, raced a green wide 2nd last year at Parx, then two 6-7 wide trips at Saratoga,& Gulfstream into hot paces, stretches out from those sprints to a mile today for his 4th career start,he's a Quality Road colt out of a dam[Mayo on the Side] who won 642K,& posted a 28-7-4-8 record, can track & settle from his inside post,or try and control the pace from the outset, either way works so he's a play today.

    5/19 Friday

    #24/30

    Pimlico R10

#6- Take Cover, position will be important in this 5 furlong turf scramble,TC can keep up with the pace early, though he isn't a need the lead type, jockey Jevian Toledo[who's not a "name rider",but rode TC in his last 3 starts]will have to find an economic way though this big field to reach the wire first.Trainer
Alan Goldberg took over TC's training last year and in 5 starts got 2 wins and 2 seconds out of him, returns for season debut, has been training well at CNS[Colts Neck Stable, who also own the horse],this race seems to be the objective, fair price to possibility,if he actually fires fresh watch out.

    $2 win

    5/20 Saturday

    #25/30

    Pimlico R7

#5- Pro Forma, showed ability in a 3 race 2 year old campaign, has run and won from slightly off the lead,Geroux timed it perfectly in his last drawing off to win by 3,tough spot for return, but he's prepped sharp for this and if the connections have confidence in him to turn in a good effort that's a + sign.

    $2 win

    #26/30

    Pimlico R8

#5- Berk's County,at first glance the speed figure for his only race looks a bit low for today's condition, yet he won at Saratoga as a 2 yo in his first start coming 6 wide to draw away by 1.5 in a sprint, horses who finished behind him came back to win also[key race],gets sharp local rider Feargal Lynch who knows his way around this turf course,BC stretches out to a mile, has 6 recent works, and with normal maturation improvement can compete here.
    Nothing ventured,nothing gained.

    $2 win

    #27/30

    Pimlico R12

#10- Ring Weekend, ran a close 2nd in this race last year, back east off a 5 race California campaign, the 1/16 mile distance is perfect for his style, figures are steady every start, returns after 2 months with Fair Hill works, watch for a late run from him.

    $2 win
