    Happy Jeff Samardzija Day also.

I'm so tempted to bet Weaver tomorrow. He was bet last time out. Pitched well except for 1st. FB pitcher v. FB Rangers & battling to stay in rotation. If u look at adjusted standings Pads a tad better.

Weaver has some decent peripherals such as .302 OBP given up but he is a home run machine 12 home runs given up already this season.

16 strikeouts/12 Home Runs this season thus far. 37 HR's last season. Those floaters he is dealing are going out of the park at an alarming rate. If he could control that he might be serviceable. Let's see what 5 dimes deals FF total. Can't wait.

Prob taking under after it goes to 8.5...both lineups struggling massively. I cant back a team that has had to resort to slappy Andrus batting 3rd because he has a team leading .280 avg lol

The Padres’ game Sunday at the Chicago White Sox should provide interesting theater. Ron Fowler, the team’s executive chairman, said battered pitcher Jered Weaver is on a short leash after a three-start run where he allowed 22 runs in 12 2/3 innings.

The team is 0-7 in games started this season by Weaver, the softest throwing starter in the bigs this side of knuckle-baller
    R.A. Dickey.

Same here wanted 4 hitters but Quintana starting...got Abreu, Navaraez, and Luery Garcia. Bad start to day tho....had a Cleveland stack and switched it this morning...would have had Gomes, Kipnis, Santana, and Ramirez.

My main stacks are against Weaver and Fiers cuz they love giving up the longball

Moving Weaver closer to the first base side of the rubber seems to have helped hitting the corner. Available public info surprised Sox hit -200.

Why, just theory until put to the test, can't necessarily blame Joe 6-Pax.

That's good info. If his off-speed stuff is not middle/in you can take a shot with the inflated number. One inning always does him in. Pads can hit the long ball. So a close game you're not out of it. And yes I took a shot again with Dream Weaver today,

Luckily you don't bet much or you'd of lost some really serious dough on how wrong you've been on him.

It worked today but the Sox are a bottom-5 offense right now.

So during your round table MLB discussion tell your fellow bettors why you wouldn't want to hold a +180 ticket up 3-1 going into the Btm8.

I might be the only person on this board who was helped by that 8th inning in Chicago this afternoon.
