Crypto-currencies are here to stay. It's a natural evolution. Blockchain technology is everywhere. Ethereum is close to passing up BTC at this time. They call it the "Flippening".

Link your bank account to Coinbase or gemini. If you want cash by ATM, get a Bitpay card.

    case studies show us

person A will continue to find a solution from the obstruction of person B

the best example for many here, is the ability to get down, and as these years pass, the majority of
books/clients have, despite the constant obstacles, stayed ahead of the game by any tools at one's
disposal to accomplish their goal's being deposit/withdrawal, that will never change.

as for bitcoin, it is here to stay, and has never been more safe as it is today from the masses
fears of it losing all/most value, as bitcoin now has the attention of heavy volume and long term
investors worldwide guaranteeing the currency respect and sustainability

With all due respect to you sir....And I honestly do think you're one of the good guys on EOG; I would not expect to hear anyone using BitCoin to say otherwise.

I have been investing since my early twenties in order to diversify so I don't get smacked
    in sports,racing,wallstreet.

I was in your camp, then I did some research for 6 months, followed by some deep
consultations from 3 friends who currently work in manhattan, and when I heard names
involved and the reasoning why, lets just say I have become quite comfortable having
the position and personal investment that I currently have for the long term.

I have no interest in betting on the currency. I simply want a fast, easy, secure way to exchange money with books.

I think you are correct on crypto $$$ long term .... as for the the US market in sports betting with offshore , it is on it's last legs unless the USA let's them in . The books have some problems and need to address them. One is paying the people faster than ever before. The illegal ones do not like that. The charges of checks , waiting period oh come on now...there are many more problems. They do have reduced odds ...and night time odds ...bigger menu..... there is not any CCC offshore. Too many hoops to jump thru in offshore .....throw in bitcoin with their hoops.......horrible parlay. The USA sports book market will blow away USA offshore market. 2006 hit the offshore in the gut .... the sports betting case will hurt them worse . I like the offshore.... I just hate the hoops to jump thru.

Mr Top, If there are no reports of slow pay with Bitcoin from the top 5 to 10 books offshore AND tomorrow Christie II case does not make the Supreme Court's menu, then I think it's possible to consider Bitcoin as a last resort. Tomorrow is the key, before any excitement. If you are even dreaming that Congress takes up the issue, you're smoking some funny stuff.

maybe I did not explain it..... I am saying when the USA market opens people will not want to play offshore because of the speed of which a person gets paid.
Example credit offshore.... waiting time to get paid on a monday night bet.... (7-11 days credit office ) the reason the week has to end. They would have to change that to compete with the casino books.

offshore post up... to compete with USA legal sportsbooks all over the country....
offshore post up hope to get invited in ( long shot )
offshore post up competing with USA legal all over the country would need to fix payments to get rid of some hoops.....otherwise they are fine.

Remember vegas does well because money is 100% and paid so many minutes after the game. People like that. It would do better when it goes legal.

I am praying if it goes legal offshore stays open full blast. They have other countries playing into them but the US market would be much smaller than today when it goes legal.

For me it's simply too many hoops to jump through at this time.... A really smart offshore sportsbook, that wanted to get a larger customer base, would do this. They would list the steps.. Step by BABY step leaving out no detail from start to finish of how to do this on their website. Then there could be ZERO confusion. And when I say start, i mean from step ONE and when I say finish, I mean getting the cash in your hands, leaving out NO details or wondering what to do. I know one poster on another website recommends reading and watching You Tube videos to learn. Then there is the wallet vs no wallet vs Coinbase is your wallet.. The confusion goes on and on. I'm just scratching the surface of problems here.

there is someone running it...they do maintenance on the websites all the time.... who is doing that bug bunny? they need to set it up better with support with phone to kick it off better
