Heim has played at 12 tracks and has achieved impressive results.

I would say most professional handicappers specialize on certain tracks and meets, but not Heim.

Good Luck down the stretch Heim.

$10 to make $17.80 is a good position to be in at this point and his history this month is impressive. GL Heim

last horse I wanted to place was the first time starter #6. He had most of the place money.

Yet another great call by HEIM.

His selection won and paid $9.80 $5.60 and $4.20.

    $54.00/$70.00

HEIM needs to turn his final six dollars of contest investment into $10.00.

His final three plays will be posted on the following days: Sunday, July 23, Saturday, July 29 and Sunday, July 30.

    Here we go...

Set to play R2 at Mountaineer but they took it off the turf. Then got bad racing luck when #9 bobbled at the start. From that post at 8F, in the money finish not likely from a maiden claimer.

This challenge is much tougher than it appears.

HEIM has played it beautifully yet he's still an underdog to cash.

Kudos to RDALERT447, CHITOWNJOE and NEVERAGAIN for capturing previous racing editions of EOG's Grand Challenge.

Saturday's result will influence Sunday's selection.

He might not have to make a decision on Sunday.

    True.

Though there's no need to find a $10.00 horse on Saturday because an $8.00 winner should do the job.

I think this discussion came up before with the strategy at this point. Do you look for an $8.00 horse and then look for a show horse on Sunday? Or do you fire 2 bullets trying to catch the $10.00 horse.........I think in this case it comes down to how strong an opinion you have at something in the 3/1 range on Saturday. Without a strong opinion on a horse in that range, I'm trying to win it Saturday and then if I miss try again on Sunday.

Here's a tricky part of the targeted score format: You must account for late money in the betting pools so your price doesn't disappear on the last flash.
