Seems you would be celebrating with me but so consumed at Ruca's big year you are upset?

    OWNED!

    Geez.

Big deal if Ruca knows the Cubs inside and out and has been a grayv train for most of us, why does that bother you?

Because it's factually incorrect. Make sure to cradle the balls, Patty.

Interesting game. Probably will be longest 9 inning game in history time wise. Neither team has the bullpen to advance past the next round. Too many waiver wire hurlers.

For a guy that's trying to stay in the closet he does a terrible job doesn't he? I mean I could really care less if the kid's gay or not but I can guarantee he would be a lot happier person if he just came out.

Yep-It has to be where all of his anger stems from.

If the cubbies go on to win they can thank the umpires...when Baez struck out, his backswing hit the catcher and the ball should have been dead for the third out...the inning continued and the Cubs scored two more runs after that....should have ended the inning 5-4 instead of 7-4...

Like to see how Javy explains this and see if he knew the rule....

You've talked about my sexuality more on this forum than sports.

I know this fact doesn't seem that crazy, but think about it a little longer.

One thing to point out is that the ball was under his legs already before he got hit. So maybe the umpire thought he had discretion. You'd have to ask him. It does put umpire's discretion in the rule.

Wieters also put his head down diagonally towards Baez's backswing.

why is that not reviewable? that is silly. You have instant replay now. It should be reviewable. That was a huge missed call.

Correct-For post season everything should be reviewable in my opinion.

But reviewing it doesn't fix the problem. The ball was under his glove by that point, the rule book mentions discretion, and Wieters put his head down at a weird angle closer to Baez's backswing to try and make an awkward block in the dirt.

I don't think it was a terrible miss by any means, and calling it would have been terrible since it didn't even impact the play.

This post game presser from Dusty Baker is painful to watch. Looks like a senile old man rambling.

Does not matter...his backswing hit the catcher....ball is dead, inning over.....

wrong, in the comment section it specifically mentions the catcher has to be in the process of securing the ball, the ball was 10 feet behind him when he got hit. This isn't black and white. Comments are generally guidelines and the comments still don't bode well for you.

This is the wrong type of argument to have with me lol

Baez swung and missed and hit the catcher....does not matter where the ball is at....

I give you a little credit about knowing baseball but you are embarrassing yourself here...
