They’d be wise to hire Cutler. He’d kill it, be almost everyone’s favorite guaranteed

Manning is a no-brainer. MNF has always catered to the casual fan.

I don't think he wants to do it. If Warner can get out of his NFLN contract he would be my choice

He would be as boring in the booth as he was on the field....

Louis Riddick is the best guy on ESPN. He’s more likely going to end up a GM.

    He’s a winner no doubt.

I don't see why you insist upon saying stupid shit just to supposedly annoy people.

Cutler would be great in the booth b/c he is an asshole that will tell the truth. Boring in the booth is Tony Romo. He's not cut out for that.

.............and that is why he WON'T get it because he won't be there very long. They want someone they can hire and have do games for 5+ years and there is no chance Riddick is there for 5+ years. Heck - he might not be there in 5 months.

Dan Patrick brought up: Steve Young but did say if Warner can get out of his NFLN contract he would be a good one

Young would be a solid - in house - hire.

Your man crush for Cutler is really creepy....he was an average QB and would be an average guy in the booth....

It probably wont matter looking at the 2017 ratings. What is the deal with these london games? Do the english even care about American football?

Seattle Seahawks vs. Oakland Raiders, Tottenham stadium, Oct. 14.

Philadelphia Eagles vs. Jacksonville Jaguars, Wembley Stadium, Oct. 21 or 28.

Tennessee Titans vs. Los Angeles Chargers, Wembley Stadium, Oct. 21 or 28.

Matt Hasselbeck will be working with Sean McDonough announcing the pro bowl, seems like this is an audition for the gig, +900 is worth a shot

Anyone ever actually listen to Manning try to speak English? 1min commercial far cry from 3.5 hours.

Three hours of Peyton Manning . . . brought to you by, Peyton Manning, pitching insurance, pizza, etc., etc.

Although I guess that's not too far of a cry from watching MNF with Gruden punctuated by commercials with Gruden.

Was thinking the same thing...Lots of knowledge, but kinda mush mouthed.
Still would love to have a "tryout" during patriots game this weekend.

    Interesting list. My two cents:

    * Peyton may come out as a bit stiff in interviews.

    * Want a nice value longshot? Bruce Arians +700. Arians will come across as very bright + opinionated in interview.

Arians almost certainly going straight into media. Talked about getting tired of the long hours. Arians a witty guy. The NFL-fan will like him, once they realize what Arians brings to the table.

Arians would be great, but if ESPN is looking for a 1-2+ decade guy, it's not a 65 year old Arians. ESPN clearly giving Matt Hasselbeck 1st shot.
