Many thanks to JK and to all the staff, management and owners at EOG for the opportunity.
And also thanks to BetDSI for sponsoring.

First off, big congratulations to WeinketoWarrick for a very stylish victory in the March edition of the contest.
In horse parlance, he was a “wrapped up” winner crossing the finish line.

April is a big month for horse racing with the northern tracks starting up, especially Keeneland with a huge meet.
And there’s the Derby picture continuing to develop with several major preps to run.

I will try my best to make it an exciting month for this thread at EOG.

One more at Santa Anita today.

Race 8 $2 win #2 Deal with it Dude.

Talamo up and gets a fast track for today’s.
Looked like he wasn’t comfortable with the ‘off going’ in last.

Two bricks today to start the contest.
Both were just flat in the stretch, no 2nd gear.

    On to the next.

To be a winning gambler requires Giant Rocks.

My selection, Giant Rocks, took command in mid stretch only to get run down, finishing 2nd by a head at 7-2 odds.
    Close but no cigar.

Now 0-3, on to the next.

Hey John, how about adding the past winners to the initial post on these threads? Believe that there's only about a handful . . . sort of a running Hall of Fame type thing on a difficult challenge.

Might also be interesting to take a month at some point and have the past winners compete against each other and see who can build the biggest bankroll playing against each other under the same format. Maybe for a $2K prize. Something like the "EOG Grand Challenge: Hall of Fame Edition, presented by Bet DSI."
Never confuse price with value, consensus with wisdom, or conformity with courage.

Sorry friends, there are no horse plays today.

I will have a play at Aqueduct tomorrow and then will gamble it up this weekend on some better race cards

Good luck to everyone at EOG playing MLB today.

Good afternoon racing fans, instead of Aqueduct we're going to Keeneland today for race 10.
Not the first audible I've called here, by the way.

Keeneland race 10 #6 Whateverybodywants - Corey Lanerie up. $2 win

After a goofy 'gong show' kind of trip at fairgrounds last out Lanerie retains the mount.
Also, this gelding ran well in Kentucky last year at Keeneland and Churchill.

Whateverybodywants showed a major lack of professionalism today.

He hopped, was bumped, and was steadied, all before the turn for home.
This horse is still very immature and disobedient.

    Finished 6th
    Record is now 5-0.

looking forward to a big weekend, and hopefully I will find the win column

We're going to Parx today for the 7th race.

I'm taking $2 win on long shot #7 lazarus Project, with apprentice rider Jann N. Hernandez up.

This horse finished well in last after a slow start.
Going further today from 6 to 6 1/2 furlongs.
Also hoping the 7 pound weight allowance gives him an edge.
