agree with sleepy. Horrible spiral. Jorgenson was always hurt too. Washington needed a QB those days. The analytical guys on the internet would have a field day with that team today.

People forget what great athletes Kilmer and Namath were in college. Both good running Qbs until injuries set in.

I don't recall Billy Kilmer's UCLA days, but I do remember his single-bar facemask and his brief time in the sports advisory business.

billy was a big poker player, fell asleep at wheel of car and crashed into river after a 3 day poker binge and currently likes to bet horses most days at Hileah. Was a 1st round draft pick baseball was offered 50k in 1957 out of hs, mom wouldn't let him take money. played for John Wooden at UCLA, was 5th in Heisman voting. Had Qb rushing record in nfl for about 30 years until Steve Young broke it.

People forget Mark Harmon was also a UCLA QB.....and one of the better wishbone quarterbacks in the country. Plus he banged Pam Dawber at her peak.

Impressive resume. Sleepy nailed it, guy couldn’t throw a spiral. If the Over the Hill Gang had a qb, they could have beat the ‘72 Dolphins.
