    Darvish leads the mlb in the most important pitching stat, which is strikeouts.

    He is much better out of the wind up. He often struggles to prevent that one big inning. Usually happens around 6th or 7th. Manager starting to catch on and get him out of there before it happens.

    most relevant stat is ERA and not close. The goal of a pitcher is to prevent runs from scoring, not to strike people out. Not all that complicated. And furthermore you are nowhere near being correct about him leading the majors in K's. Not sure what stats you use.

    you prevent runs from scoring by not allowing men to cross the plate. Missing bats is helpful in doing that, but not completely necessary

    Dempster era is 1.05 and is strike out more than 1 an inning

    Darvish is 7-1 2.60 era and 5th in walks. Ricky Romero leads the MLB in walks he is 6-1
