A Boston woman wanted by state police in connection with a 2007 scam at Foxwoods Resort Casino was arraigned Wednesday in New London Superior Court.
Sherry George, 42, with a last known address in Boston, is charged with first-degree larceny by false pretense or promise.
Detectives from the state police casino unit said George was arrested on an outstanding warrant by Englewood Cliffs, N.J., police.
She is linked to a scam involving the theft of $20,100 from an 88-year-old man at Foxwoods.
George was extradited from New Jersey and arraigned Tuesday. She later posted a $19,100 cash bail. Her case was continued to July 21 and transferred to New London’s Part A court for serious felonies.
