As Republican Presidents, aka known as Santa Claus for the rich, kept giving the wealthy a bigger slice of the pie, claiming their prosperity will trickle down and everybody will benefit, Americans bought into the arguement, as long as times were good.

But times aren't good. And as the Republicans keep howling the "CLASS WARFARE" word against the middle class, Americans aren't buying it anymore.

"CLASS WARFARE" can now be used by the Democrats to claim the rich is out to get the middle class.

The times, they are a changing.

Obama only cares about advancing the interests of Wall Street elites. He will continue throwing some welfare scraps to lock in the votes from the lower end of the income spectrum, and Wall Street (his priority) is happy enough with his submission to keep him in power. Everyone else suffers under Obama's policies, but he doesn't care at all.

This is the great paradox of socialism and progressive politics in general -- the more power there is in a political system, the more the powerful exploit it.

If we look back 31½ years ago, something very interesting can be found. Back then, 7 months before the election, polls indicated that Jimmy Carter lead Ronald Reagan by an enormous 25 percentage points. Yet we all know what eventually happened.

I thought this was explained earlier. Are you not familiar with how odds are formulated?

Let me try and help you.

If multiple boneheads decide that Obama is going to win and bet their money that way, his odds go down. If more people bet on a Republican, their odds go down. The house, or the casino will win no matter what because of their pecentage of take. I hope this helps.
