How About A Poker Tourney For An Entry Into....

....the LVH Super Book NFL contest? I always tried to get one going at Phoenix Sports, but they were afraid it would violate some sort of rule which was ridiculous.

I mean, we're only talking about a $1500 entry + about $250 for a proxy. There's no reason that we couldn't get one going since we already have a poker tournament going each week, so I'll bet there's plenty of interest.

If we got a $40 entry fee and got 50 players...which we should get easily...that would cover the entry fee + proxy, and air fare to go to Vegas to sign up.

What do you say JK or Kinger or whoever would run this thing. We could make a name for EOG as the Premier sports gambling site!

Depending on the weekend/weekday this would take place I'd be game. Sounds like a nice idea. Remaining money would go to 2nd, 3rd place depending on entries.

We had over a dozen guys put up $500 for a wsop main event seat in '06 (the shrink/eog covered the shortfall). Times have changed.

I'd pay $50 and if I won I'd give the entry to someone who has a chance of actually winning the contest. I'm sure you can get like 30 regs to play it to make up the $1500 entry.

I'm sure that if we put this up as a contest, we would get 50 players. I don't see why people are being so negative. They don't play in the other contests because they aren't playing for much. This would be a chance to win over $300,000 for a small price. I'd bet we'd get 100 entries.

I'd guess the amount would be $60 for 30 people to cover the proxy cost. King message me where to send the check to you. I'm not going to do the $50 for the other contest just because I went back to Bovada and I don't want to put money anywhere else to play poker right now (hint hint). It would be fun to watch someone from here try to win the contest.
