Default What would the line on tonight's NFL game be....

If this were a week 1 game?

I think we are getting a LARGE discount on SF here...no way would they have been only -3 in week 1.

Yeah they've looked shitty the last 2 weeks, but no one wins in Seattle and the Indy game was a direct hang over result of that.

49ers were 7.5pt favorites @ Stl last december (they lost).

San Fran was 4 point fav on this game in May:
NFL week 4 openers from back in May

San Francisco 49ers (-4) at St. Louis Rams
Baltimore Ravens (-4) at Buffalo Bills
Cincinnati Bengals (-3) at Cleveland Browns
Chicago Bears at Detroit Lions (-1)
New York Giants (-1.5) at Kansas City Chiefs
Pittsburgh Steelers (-1.5) at Minnesota Vikings [London, England]
Arizona Cardinals at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-4.5)
Indianapolis Colts (-3.5) at Jacksonville Jaguars
Seattle Seahawks (-1) at Houston Texans
New York Jets (-1, -105) at Tennessee Titans
Philadelphia Eagles at Denver Broncos (-7.5)
Dallas Cowboys at San Diego Chargers (-1)
Washington Redskins (-4) at Oakland Raiders
New England Patriots at Atlanta Falcons (PK)
Miami Dolphins at New Orleans Saints (-4.5, -115)

Appears as if San Francisco is suffering a hangover from last season's Super Bowl loss. Tough spot for the 49ers playing a well-coached division foe on the road. If this were Week 1, Frisco would be a 4 or 4.5-point favorite.

The rams held their own against the niners last year. This year, rams are better, niners are worse coaching stays the same. I'll take my chances on the rams.

you are getting a 1 point discount on the 49ers, yet also having to bet on an injury-ridden team with no confidence.
i would rather lay the extra point and have a healthy confident 49er team that is playing well. not to say they won't win, but i am sitting it out.

Remember that game well. Had a huge teaser and San Fran was the last leg. 9ers had game in hand. They were up 3 scores late 3rd Q. Got lazy and late 4th were only up 4. Deep in there own territory Hardumb called a toss sweep and gore forget to catch the sweep. Fumble recovery TD. Bing bang boom teaser in the shitter.
