Usually all my games have strictly been for one unit cause hell I feel weird about people betting the games I like much less telling them the amount they should bet it for but since I have a stronger feeling for some leagues/games some will be for 2 units and some only 1 unit. Most bets are from Pinnacle unless otherwise noted.
Saturday's games Sunderland - Tottenham under 2 - 2.5 -103 1 unit Looking to get the off to a good start with this one. Usually teams coming up from the championships play with alot of heart during the first game at home. I still remember Wigan two years giving Chelsea a good game during there first game in the EPL losing 1-0 on a late Crespo goal. Hoping Sunderland can repeat that. West Ham - Man City over 2 - 2.5 -102 2 units Looking forward to this game, this is not the same Man City team that played boring football last year. This game should be entertaining since each team signed alot of offensive minded players this summer. Middlesboro - Blackburn under 2 - 2.5 -111 1 unit Boro would be more then happy with a 1-0 victory and the same could be said for Blackburn if they took the 3 points on the road. Both teams play with a cautious approach that im hoping carries over into this game. Everton .5 & -1 -107 vs Wigan 1 unit I just don't like Wigan, Even without Cahill I still give Everton the edge at home Newcastle +118 vs Bolton 1 unit Big Sam gets his return visit to the reebok out of the way early. I'm liking the plus money even without Own being fit while different sport im going with the John Gruden vs Oakland theory in this play. Aston Villa - Liverpool over 2 - 2.5 +106 2 units Aston Villa has players who can score, Liverpool have players who can score. Aston back four is something shakey so im hoping for a free flowing game between this two teams. Aston Villa +.5 vs Liverpool -112 1 unit I like the home underdogs esp on opening day. I usually don't like to bet both the over and the result but I think Villa can do something against this Liverpool team. MLS Houston pk & -.5 vs Colorado +113 1 unit Colorado is just god awful and while Houston slipped up against RSL last week I don't see a repeat this week. Sunday Chelsea -1.5 -112 vs Birmingham 1 unit Generally i'm not a big fan of hoping a team can win by 2 however I think Chelsea will bring it in this game to erase the somewhat bitter taste of there pk's against Man U last week. The fact that Birmingham will be without both centre backs also effected my decision MLS New York Red Bull - Toronto FC under 2.5 -107 2 units Toronto hasn't scored in forever and are banged up out front but they still play a good back four for the most part and there is nothing more Bruce Arena likes more then a 1-0 boring win. Record is 0-0 |

My recap below
Saturday's games Sunderland - Tottenham under 2 - 2.5 -103 1 unit Well that game was a joy to watch. If a team is to score a goal its good to have it happen in the last minute. West Ham - Man City over 2 - 2.5 -102 2 units I was going to blame Sven for this loss and part of me still thinks its his fault since his team came out flying and after the 1st goal just took it easy but West ham played awful, they didn't help matters. Atleast Man City got the second goal to give back one of my two units bet on this game Middlesboro - Blackburn under 2 - 2.5 -111 1 unit Going to be a long season for Boro, didn't watch the game. Glad I didnt Everton .5 & -1 -107 vs Wigan 1 unit I'd perfered the 2-0 score to hold up but perfectly fine with the half unit pick up in this match. Newcastle +118 vs Bolton 1 unit I wish all games where this easy. Congrats Big Sam thanks for the cash. Aston Villa - Liverpool over 2 - 2.5 +106 2 units If I was to get one of these two bets wrongs im glad it wasnt this one. Big thanks goes to Jamie Carragher for that hand ball. I was fully expecting a 1-0 result and losing 3 units. I feel lucky over this one. Aston Villa +.5 vs Liverpool -112 1 unit Sadly you didnt cash life goes on. Record 6-4-2 +1.56 units Houston Chelsea Tor/NY under pending |

Adding Len-PSG over 2 -128 1 unit. Both teams have something to prove after lackluster 1st week results which I hope means both teams fly out of the gate even if the French league is an under paradise

Tottenham -.5 -111 2 units
I was debating placing this game as 2 units or 1 since I didn't want to chase however if I wasn't in a slump I'd be really liking this pick. I like the Spurs to rebound after an awful result against sunderland I think they come out firing at home in this one. Record 6-9-2 -3.72 |

Cold as Ice, took a late lunch to watch the game 3 minutes in Everton scores, went right back to work. Now offically Tottenham has pretty much pissed off everyone on this board. On the bright side Rui Costa dusted off some old magic to lead Benfica to a 2-1 win today. Hope that away goal doesnt come back to hurt them.
Tomorrow's games Sunderland - Birmingham under 2 and 2.5 -123 1 unit Both teams know each other well, while I worry about Birmingham's back four however I think this is still an evenly matched contest in which either team would be happy with a 1-0 result and once that first goal is scored either team would be happy to sit on it. Manchester United -.5 & -1 -114 2 units In Ronaldo I trust, if Derby can score twice against Portsmouth so can Man U (hopefully) Chelsea -.5 & -1 -129 1 unit Kinda squarish i know picking both Chelsea and Man U on the road however each have something to prove after less then perfect first games. Hoping Chelsea remembers last year meeting between each team and puts the boots to them. Wigan - Middlesboro under 2 & 2.5 -105 1 unit Each team sucks while both went over last week I see a 0-0 game here. Champions League Qualifiers Liverpool - Toulouse under 2 & 2.5 -128 1 unit Both teams are riding high after impressive wins on the weekend. Toulouse would be perfectly happy with a 0-0 score and liverpool would be happy winning 1-0 to get that away goal. Ajax -1 and -1.5 +109 (vs Slavia Prague) 1 unit Ajax choked in this spot last year and caused themselves a spot in the champions league as a result. Hopefully they learn from last years mishap. Red Bull Salzburg pk & -.5 +100 (vs Shakhtar Donetsk) 1 unit Shakhtar losing Elano will hurt while they went out and got Mexican striker Nevy Castillo I still favour Red Bull at home. Arsenal -0.5 -120 (vs Sparta Prague) 1 unit Too much fire power on Arsenal for Sparta to handle hoping for a postive result in this one. 6-10-2 -5.94 |

Stopped the bleeding somewhat, got a good break with Chelsea coming back but back luck (for me atleast) with the Portsmouth goal to kill my Man U bet and 3 late goals in the B'Ham - Sunderland game. Getting one or the other would make the day alot better but one moves on
Super Liga LA Galaxy pk & -.5 +116 2 units LA and DC are no stranger to each other playing less then 2 weeks ago in a game that could of gone either way. Liking LA at home in this one, hopefully the crowd can spur LA on to victory. Record 14-16-3 -5.96 |

David Beckham is now back in my good books after last night, actually he has always been in my good books since he rocketed a PK again Portugal back in Euro 2004 just for the good vibes I'm posting it below. Good times however I was a nervous wreck that entire game.
MLS Time Colorado - NE Over 2.5 +108 1 unit New England is no stranger to finding the back of the net and while Colorado cant score they are coming off a fluke win against Houston to get that monkey off there back since they have been losing for what seems like forever. Hopefully on National TV they can manage to put atleast 1 in the back of the net for me to help it over. Record 16-16-4 -3.64 |

Been a decent last couple of days since I've been able to get some unit back hopefully it roll into the weekend. Oh yeah since that Portugal youtube clip won last night more great moments in Portuguese soccer history will follow into this post.
The game that started to change the tide from oh yeah Portugal always plays beautiful football but in the end they'll lose to what they are today. Just a great game highlighted by a thunderbolt of a shot by Figo and just world class passing by Rui Costa. Ok down to business Bolton +0.5 -106 vs Portsmouth 1 unit. Im hoping 3 games in 7 days will catch up to Portsmouth and hopefully the form Bolton showed against Newcastle isn't there form for the rest of the season. West Ham pk & +.5 vs Birmingham -127 2 units Same theory applies here as well. It isn't like B'ham is a rock in the back four giving up 5 goals in 2 games thus far and while West Ham threw up a stinker against Man City they still have a more talented team then B'Ham Fulham - Middlesboro over 2 and 2.5 -108 1 unit Both teams has problems scoring goals and since neither team is afriad of the other so I think it could open the game up to the point where the over cashes. Reading - Everton under 2 - 2.5 -119 1 unit Both teams play well at the back and since by and large both teams only feature one striker up front this game can easily be a 1-0 game. Aston Villa +0.5 -107 vs Newcastle 1 unit Big Sam is off to a great start however both teams are evenly matched and since I can see a tie I lend towards Villa walking away with atleast a point here. Portugal Superliga Braga +0.5 -119 vs Porto 1 unit (may increase to two units depending on how the morning EPL games go, the second unit if I do add it on will be graded as the unit at the time I decide to increase the bet by the way and will also be posted. ) There are 3 top teams in Portugal, Porto, Benfica and Sporting Lisboa however Braga is the 4th best team in Portugal and gave a good showing of themselves in the UEFA Cup last year making it to the final 16. Basically what im trying to say is Braga at home against a banged up Porto team that lost alot of quality in selling Pepe to Real Madrid and Anderson to Man U will be in a battle in this contest. Benfica -181 3 way line (Bookmaker.com) vs Leixoes 1 unit Leixoes is coming up from the second divison and while I usually back off teams playing in there first game in the top league Benfica is coming off a good win mid week. While losing Simao who was the heart and soul of the team will hurt they still have great leadership in the form of Rui Costa and signed 4 good young players in Freddy Adu, Diaz, Cardozo, and Di Maria. Benfica will break down Leixoes at some point in this game and should be good value for the win. MLS Toronto FC PK -120 vs Chivas USA 1 unit Toronto at home is a very different team then on the road. With some players getting back to fitness im siding with the 12th man helping the FC finally get a goal and a win. Los Angeles Galaxy +0.5 -112 vs New York Red Bull 1 unit Even with Beckham's mind in England I think LA can atleast pull off a tie in this match up. Record 17-16-4 -2.56 |

I hear you, was leaning that way too I just usually don't like to have a bet on the game and the total so only decide on the game. But you are right the under does look good.

Just an awful run at luck, I fully expected the Red Bull to score too. Porto scores in the 84th minute, No name Portuguese team scores in extra tme after Benfica pretty much scored in extra time to kill that excitement and LA couldn't hold on to the tie after coming back from two goals. I can sleep better knowing I was totally wrong on Toronto I'd much rather lose like that
Only one game for tomorrow Chelsea pk & +.5 -122 vs Liverpool 2 units AND Chelsea 3 way line +219 1 unit I actually really like Chelsea in this spot. While Rafa is trying to find how all his new players fit and what they can do. Jose knows the in's and out's of his players to the smallest details plus Chelsea still has the bitter taste of losing in the Champions League at Liverpool. With Gerrard not at 100% I expect a Jose Mourinho fist pump in this game. 24-21-4 -3.94 |

Well considering that at halftime I was looking at losing 3 units coming back to not lose a penny on a questionable penalty decision I'm happy.Houston pk & -.5 -109 vs Dallas 2 unitsHouston isn't coming into this game with the greatest of form losing the last two games in MLS and another one on top of that in the Super Liga however back at home against a banged up Dallas team I look for them to get the 3 points.Record25-22-5 -3.94

After an up and down week it was good to end it with a good result. Looking to get over the hump but the record could be worse. Just wanted to update the record since Mon-Tuesday will be slow days.

Actually I do have a play for tomorrow
Portuguese Superliga Navel vs Belenenses over 2 -105 1 unit Ok neither team has anyone gifted offensive however Belenenses does have some talent since they are entered in the UEFA Cup draw. For the most part Portuguese football is played at an up and down pace more often then not its a pretty open game so I'll take my chances on the over. Record 27-22-5 -1.94 |

Consider it was 0-0 til the 80th minute a 1-1 result and a push is fine with me. As an added bonus benfica fired there coach that makes me feel better about that loss.
Euro 2008 qualifiers Portugal -1.5 & -2 +108 vs Armenia 1 unit Homer bet is all this is but I do like Portugal to put the boot to Armenia. Portugal don't play for 1-0 games they do like to beat a team handly if they don't match up talent wise which is the case here even on the road. Record 27-22-6 -1.94 |

That tie could make a grown man cry. I do not wish to talk about it right now. If Belgium can beat Serbia that would make me feel better MLS Chicago - Kansas City over 2.5 +113 2 units I'm still unsure why the over is plus money i'm hoping I don't regret adding on the extra unit because of it. Chicago has 3 guys who can score in Blanco, Wanchope, and Rolfe. Kansas City has one of the best strikers in the league in Eddie Johnson so I'm hoping either team can win 2-1. 27-24-6 -2.94

Having 5 goals scored in the second half was a good end to a not so good day.
MLS LA Galaxy - Chivas USA Under 2.5 -102 2 units I'm sorry but when you give up 5 goals in one game you are bound to spend the entire week of training focusing on D which is my hope with regards to the Galaxy. Plus as we speak Beckham is sleep off some jet lag and back to back 90 min games can't be great for the ankle. Since this is the big rivalry I don't see each team trying to go for the kill right away I think the first 20 mins will be played at a slower pace and I hope it carries forward from there. 28-24-6 -.68 |

tuff beat on the LA/LA game
10 men aside for the last 45 and that was bad for the galaxy as chivas got a million chances and put away 3 - mostly because of some horrific "defending" by the galaxy. that last goal was criminally easy right side - good pick - bad result. no 2 ways about it right now i am looking big time @ Man U/Tottenham O2.5 at plus money. Tott is pathetic on the road as far as giving up goals and Man U has been a MACHINE scoring goal at home. ok - not so far but i think the "dam breaks" here and we see an absolute orgy of goals - think we could get at least 5 |
