Beer intolerance!!!!!!!??

Got a HUGE problem here guys, no joke. I'm getting some kind of strange reaction when i drink beer latley!!! I drink about 4 or 5 beers and get a sick feeling in my stomach like i'm gonna puke!! I don't but i dry heave a bit and then i quit drinking. It started about a two months ago. I figured i was drinking too much, so i quit for a month. But when i started back...the same shit happened. I've had 4 beers tonight and i'm done!! Happens everytime now. I'm not like a huge drunk but i can put away some beer when the time is right. I drink maybe twice a week and used to be able to put down a twelve pack w/out so much as a headache the next day!! But now 4 or 5 beers makes me sick...what the hell is happening...any ideas!!!!! Please help, i need my beer buzz every now and then.

sounds like something that would be linked to taking a medication.

No NEW medications here. Been taking Toprol XL for high blood pressure for about 2 years now. But, it's never bothered me before. Hell, i useually wash my Toprol down with a swig of cold brew.

Blood pressure (among other) medicine often needs to be changed in the dosage amounts. Like mo said, it sounds like a medicine reaction and you should see a doctor as soon as possible because your dosage/script is probably not correct for you at this time. Don't wait to do it either, it may be a sign of many other health issues...Good Luck...
