Confession: Mystery Parlay Was $25 at Bodog

Dear EOG Community:

I hope I get more sympathy here than across the street.



I have been wracked by guilt and humiliation over my phony parlay post in old thread.

First I exposed my ignorance of action bets versus listed pitchers. Then to cover up I edited one of my Bodog parlays. It is the Bodog format, except I deleted their standard footnote at the end
* Odds and win amount may not be the same as at time of placement, if a pitcher change has taken place.

My parlay was originally $25.00 to win $55.30. But that amount seemed embarrassingly small so I added two zeros. Bodog doesn't even take $2500 parlays! Unfortunately PC explained a $2500 bet would win $5530.30. I don't know how to calculate parlays odds, so I goofed there too.

Well, I have dug myself deeper into this hole. Let's face it, I'm just a blowhard low roller, a big fat loser. I didn't have much going for me and thought I could make it in Vegas. Like I said before, I wouldn't given up a 6 figure job. Actually I went to the South Point every weekend this past CFB season for the .75 hot dogs. I can barely afford hot dogs!

So there you have it. I make puny bets and don't even know the rules. I conceal my insecurity by making lots of posts and pretending to bet big. I'm so ashamed. I want to express my heartfelt apology to The Shrink, General, Dirty, and all the participants of the forum. I hope you can find it in your hearts to forgive me. I resolve to become a better person and make higher quality posts in the future.
