H2H Challenge: Walther Whalker vs tool21

My integrity as a sports handicapper has been called into question by tool21 in the MLB Forum, calling for action on my part.

H2H Challenge has always been the means for settling such scores and in this instance (unless tool21 objects) that "score" is my record here on EOG.

If my offer is declined, the score is settled in my favor by default.

I await a proposal from tool21 as to the terms of the match.

The test results seem to confirm that the "system" of past posting cannot help you improve on your record. There is at least one good reason for putting yourself on the line in a H2HC, you get my picks for free.

hey walther, why do you think the thread is called TEST system haha. Did you even read my posts? It's just a post for myself to keep track of different things i'm testing out. Tests aren't meant to be taking seriously in the betting environment. I like to try things out before i get serious in betting them. say 30 games total, 25 games at 1 unit each and 5 plays at 2 units (you have to say "two units" when u make a 2 unit play otherwise its assumed to be 1 unit) use donbest opening numbers, all plays must be made by October 1st.

donbest does not list underdog lines, so let's say 10 cent line on anything under -200 and 20 cent line for anything -200 or more, of course a 30 cent line on -300 faves, etc...you understand.

You admit this is his game, yet the challenge was that YOU suck as a handicapper as I remember. I don't think it matters either way. You can use whoever's games and still lose this one in my book.

Sorry, Tool. I'm on YOUR side here. I meant that it sure sounded like Walt and "Jack" were one and the same. Obviously, YOU are not the same as either one.

Classic old school tout. Find 100 people. You give half the people one side, and half the other of any game. Someone is going to be 1-0. Do the same with the remaining 50. 25 people are now sitting at 2-0. Decent. NOw one last time with those people. What do you have left??? 12-13 people that think you are God, hitting an "easy" 3-0. Maybe even go 4-0 with 6 of those people. Then get money from say a majority of those left. Do that on a large scal, and you can bank. Do it every week, and you're rich.

When you look at the way this started, Walt took one side against his roomate. Even when not directly against, they took different games.One guy happened to do better, and we didn't hear much more from Walt and HIS picks (save THIS thread in the DUMP). Suddenly Jack is on fire, and everyone is kissing his ass. Maybe just a conspiracy theory, but this guy spoke like a tout from the very beginning with phrases like:

"This will be a "no sweat" win for us guys, very much like Friday's game in which I brought you the game and the total."

"I generally stroke about a 67% win percentage throughout the course of the season..."

"I will be back with you with another big winner tomorrow."

"We saw Damon and Posada go 2-4 in that game, very consistent with our predictions to date. The edge that we had in that game was not "strong" enough for us to move on, even though the game still was a winner."

Who is WE? Suddenly he is a syndicate? LOL.

"I have received a lot of enquiries from players around the globe...regarding the relative strength of tomorrow's Yanks game."

I could go on and on. If that doesn't sound like every tout you've ever heard... He claims to have been around quite a long time, but he doesn't use units except when it suits him. He may not be a tout right now, but I guarantee he was grooming for a following and the idea was in the back of his mind the whole time.

If he would just shut his hole and be honest, I would have never jumped on him. I happen to hate scamming touts. I don't even think they are all bad. SOme are seriously handicappers and might even deserve some cash if they perform a service for you. But this guy skirts every chance to be honest, has a "friend" who is doing well but won't sign up here, ignores posts that correct his lies and made up picks, and talks arrogantly as if we are the ones picking on him. I give it better than even money that he will never finish this challenge once you even begin to pull ahead of him - which you will.

Thanks BOBBY, one thing that these challenges do accomplish is:

It gets us back to the main idea of why we are sharing information and posting to each other, sometimes losing perspective on why we play the card. Speaking for myself, I play to win.

I hope that we both come out plus units and no big deal if I lose...gluck.
