|  Nissan Pathfinder Father and children flee vehicle before it goes up in flames by Maureen Nolan Saturday April 19, 2008, 9:29 PM A Nissan Pathfinder went up in flames a little before 7 p.m. Saturday on Interstate 690 west between Teall and Midler Avenues. The driver smelled smoke, pulled over and got his two children and himself safely out before the vehicle was engulfed, Syracuse police Lt. Joe Cecile said. Well, it didn't burn up, but the engine basically blew up at 300 miles on the vehicle. Hey, they don't make 'em like they used to! ------- |
