As I said in my first post I am new to the whole gambling thing so here is a question. What is the deal with the "units" that i see in some of the post? Any help is appreciated. |

The majority of people use the terms units instead of $$$ amounts as everyones bank roll is different. Most people use a 100 unit BR so 1 unit = 1% of their bankroll. If you follow what most deem to be good money management you will never risk more than 5 units or 5% of your BR on any one play. BR = 100 units 1 unit = small play 5 unit = big play Why is this thread in the dump ? |

Thats a good question. I just stuck it in here so I didn't bother anyone in the other forums with a dumb question. Is there a section called "beginners and their questions"? |
