NY Reb's College Football -- Oct 11-13

[NY Reb]

10* plays: 9-3

The only record I am going to keep this season is my 10* plays. If you want a winning season, then I recommend playing my 10* plays only. They are as solid as anything available. My 5* and 7* action plays have done well in the past, but not so much this season, so consider them at your own risk. They are posted here for entertainment only.

7* Wake Forest +5
Either Wake will win outright and cover easily, or FSU will blow them away and make me look stupid.

5* Wake/FSU under 44
I don't exactly expect an offensive explosion tonight.

7* Ole Miss +6
I've sat back and watched this Ole Miss team the last few games to get a better handle on them this year. One thing I've seen is that they pretty much play up or down to their competition. They will be up for Bama more than any game this year since Florida, which they lost by 6, and they should be focused and confident this week. If the Rebs can come within 6 of Florida, they can definitely come within a field goal, either way, with Bama. These guys are just a few players away from being a real team, and injuries have really hurt them this year, although Orgeron downplays that factor and doesn't really say much regarding injuries at all, except that certain players are mysteriously absent and seen in various degrees of crutches, etc. They lost their best linebacker for the season, talented soph Jonathan Cornell out of California, and he was supposed to be the true replacement for the great Patrick Willis, now starting for the 49ers and a strong Rookie of the Year candidate. Ole Miss coaches are better than they get credit for, and a so-so Bama team gives them an excellent chance for a defining win. Last two Ole Miss/Bama games have been extremely close, and the Rebels have covered 4 straight as a home dog. Bama is in a difficult sandwich situation, after playing 4 tough games, with a big game at Tennessee next week followed by LSU. By Saturday I will know whether I want to raise this to a 10* or leave it as a 7*.

If you had posts where you actually gave credit to someone after having a good week, your rants after someone has a losing endeavor would be much more credible. But you don't. Are you this negative in your everyday life? What is it that drives you to only focus on the negative side of things. Were you abused as a child? Neglected? forced to watch your father in the shower? What happened along the line, buddy? Does your wife ignore you? Well, that's probably an unfair question.......she's ignoring you because you're always in a bad mood. Or maybe you're already on like your third marriage and your kids and step-kids no longer talk to you because you made their mother's lives a living hell with all your years of losing wagers. How many mortgages you have on your trailer? Or do you live in an apartment now? By yourself. With a tattered couch. Am I getting close?
Maybe you should go back and read Reb's thread on the power of positive gambling from last year. You probably didn't take much away from that though, because your negative energy and "stinkin' thinkin'" wouldn't allow you to see the forest from the trees! Read that thread a few times and maybe try applying some of what is said in there to your personality. Who knows, maybe you'll start to think more positively and become a winner in gambling, but more importantly, in the game of life. More than likely though, it's too late for you, Husker. You'll decide to continue on your path of negativity, while Reb and other positive thinkers like him continue to pick winners and get the girl! Take care, Husker.
To Reb: sorry to hijack your thread, but I know it gets a lot of views. After last week's terse discussions with a few posters in your thread, I felt like it was time to say something about all the negativity. I know there has to be other people who feel the same way. way to put it alkimyst, every site i go to, thats all he does, he does post his plays in the tracker forum at the other site but whether or not his record is correct who knows, i get sick of him because he never has any input on any games and just bashes people about why they got banned, what they did in the past, and anything bad about the people. ive never seen a "good luck" or "nice win" anything nice at all. he does nothing good for this forum or any other forum he is ever at.

those records are monitored by the mods, and if you think there aren't people checking my record hoping for mistakes then you aren't very bright.

i don't bash people when they loose, i only point out when they don't keep accurate records. it just happens to be when they loose games their record keeping gets bad, i wonder why.

it should be easy to find some posts that i was bashing someone for loosing, why doesn't someone post some.
