EOG allows extensive freedom of speech (now logically there are some exceptions, no personal information, no shilling, no child porn, etc), but overall if something is mildly inappropriate, it just gets moved to the dump.

EOG almost has an essence of a family/community. Posters here (for the most part) genuinely care about helping the other posters, will share in joys and be there in strife. There is a very personal nature here, while still being able to remain anonymous if one so choses.
