Tried calling a offshore to help me move bitcoin around..... they said every one busy..... lol

they will never put vegas or any other state out of business with bitcoin

the banks need to make bitcoin work like any online bank....none of the copy and paste B.S.

bitcoin just has to be explained better without the silly copy paste stuff.

bitpay has no customer service.... useless bitpay does not work for me so I gave up.

Re: Bitcoin: How much time left on the clock?

What is the way most of you withdraw your bitcoins to your bank account? Do most of you use coinbase? I heard a lot of negative things about coinbase.

I had done a withdraw from circle to my bank account a while back but it was tiny amount and it worked and it was pretty quick. Also they gave you a higher rate on the bitcoin but circle no longer allows bitcoin selling etc. I liked that site. How are geminis rates when selling bitcoin?

I also heard of localbitcoins but is it legit and safe? I heard lot of ppl mention its mostly scams etc. If you do sell on localbitcoins, is the method most ppl take cash deposit into bank? I heard ppl would look for a buyer and when he does, then buyer goes to the bank, deposit the cash in the bank account, then send you a receipt. Then when they do that, you release the bitcoins. Is that still how it works nowadays? However, i heard there was a scam going on with this where ppl would deposit cash in bank, send the receipt to the other person, then the other person release the coins... then the other person goes back to the bank and tells the teller they made mistake that they deposited in wrong bank account, then get their money back. Does anyone know if banks still allow this or not because it would seem like scammers could keep doing this. I read people said if you sell bitcoin for cash deposit in bank, even if they send you the receipt, you do not send the bitcoin until the end of the day when the bank closes because once they do, then the guy who deposited the cash cannot reverse it. Any thoughts on this raiders?

Also is it true that if you sell bitcoin on localbitcoins, you get a good markup on it? For example, bitcoin is $2000. If you sell it on coinbase or other exchange, you usually pay 1 percent or less right? But if u do this through localbitcoins, they would offer you up to maybe 5 percent? Thus 1 btc you sell to them would be worth 2100? Because if you sell say 1 bitcoin to an exchange thats $2000, you probably get around $1980 or a bit less roughly? But if u do it with someone, you get $2100? Of course if you do it through an exchange site, well the money will hit your bank account for sure without any issues in a few days.

Re: Bitcoin: How much time left on the clock?

Is the value of bitcoin on par with cash or its higher because its harder to get bigger amounts of bitcoin faster? For example if someone has $2k worth of bitcoin to sell. If they use localbitcoin, they are almost always going to get at least $2000 face value for it right? Obviously if you could buy bitcoin from someone for the lower value that is under $2k, that seems a great deal if u want to buy bitcoin now? But who generally pays more? The guy paying more for bitcoin or the guy who wants cash more and gives a few percentage... like 2k bitcoin for 1950 cash etc.

For example, say someone wants to get $25000 in bitcoin. Well if they try this on coinbase, it will take a while because limits are very low. What about gemini? But if u use an exchange like bittrex and kraken, couldnt you get $25000 worth of btc pretty easily since you just do a wire transfer and that takes a few days, but once money is in account, you can buy it immediately? I also heard lot of ppl use localbitcoin because they dont want to be traced etc which does make sense for some ppl. But is that the main reason people use localbitcoins? However, most ppl i believe prefer cash deposit in bank right? So if thats the case, well thats the same as receiving money via ach or wire. Also it cant be because of convenience since the guy buying bitcoin still has to go to the bank to deposit. But for the other guy who sells, well its pretty easy since he just has to release the coins.

Has anyone here met with people face to face to sell bitcoin for cash? If so, i assume his is probably usually never a good idea right since you are carrying lot of cash either way? Like are there ppl that meet face to face in public place and trade 10k+ in btc for cash etc? I assume the ppl that do face to face its probably like 1k and less? However, there are ppl that would do big amounts since they dont want money in banks etc so wouldnt that mean they have to meet face to face? What kind of public place would you even meet up at when doing huge amounts like this? I mean you could meet up at coffee place for small amounts but im curious about those ppl who do big amounts.

Because if ppl are buying bitcoin and paying over market value, shouldn't it seem like most ppl should do this as oppose to selling it through an exchange? I also heard theres escrow on localbitcoin but is that safe to where you are guaranteed you will receive your cash? Obviously the person selling bitcoins has more risk than the person depositing cash since bitcoin is not reversible.

I heard a while back that when you sell bitcoin, you usually receive less through localbitcoin than an online exchange since you are getting cash. But have things changed since then because demand for bitcoin is a lot higher etc? Someone had mentioned it depends on who wants to do the transaction more... thus the guy selling bitcoin or buying bitcoin. Also are there more buyers than sellers on localbitcoin? Most importantly, what percentage of buyers do you think there are scammers there? Lot of ppl seem to have great feedback but i read these accounts could be bought by scammers etc. I also assume there are much less scammers that sell bitcoin right? Because if you send bitcoin to someone, you cannot get it back etc.

I use it already with the offshore.... the problem is bitcoin is in the early stages with its software . The big banks are getting involved they will make the software easier for everyone to use. The software needs more of an example : octagon with a stop in it ..........just like street signs.
Chase and google are seeing that with their own software.

There is no good longterm scenario where BTC collapses even if BCH rises to take its place. This entire market is based on perception. Bitcoins have to remain strong, even if it's fake news. Think Kevin Spicey House of Cards.

Death Star scenario is BTC collapses to the point they have to undo the fork and combine with BCH. Whole thing could collapse after that or I don't know WFT I am talking about.

BCH is just this months excuse it will be back under 600 by the first of the month. BTC ALWAYS crash in the middle of the month. ALWAYS this is no real surprise for anyone that pays attention. Last night was just the first dip there will be another. I originally said 5100 but that actually might be a little high, they may get back into the 4000s before the next fairy tale surges them back into the 8Ks they may possibly hit 10 on this nexct surge I am sure they have the perfect story lined up.

This BCH thing is them double dipping. They have people all excited because they will be able to but them (direct)for cash soon and some guy said they were going to be the next big thing. So fools lined up paying 2-3-5-6-8 times what they were just 3 weeks ago. I am one of them since I have dipped in a few times and am still in the pool for a price that was a good sell price the other day. But the standards have been changed and it looks like its going ot be a semi extended pump, maybe another 4-5 days but there will be a lot of ups and downs as people who bought when they were 250 or so on Halloween cash out, and that helps the longterm because they will do what I did and take some of their profits and buy back in thus pushing the price up some.

Thats why you see these things do what they do you have idiots buying in looking to get rich pushing the price for people who are simply reinvesting profits they just got from the last group of losers. But its always the same EVERYONE makes money on the first one or two upswings its that last down turn (where the gamble and get back in) that kills them. I am in I am gambling but the volume on that last upswing and sell off was tiny compared to the past few days so it looks worse than it is.

The irony of the last couple posts is that you would have made more by accident if you had not kept losing because if you bought coins at the start of the football season you paid 4000-4500 for them. If you bought in for baseball (and didnt go broke) you paid 950-1100. So people worrying about them because they wont have a way to fund their addiction is pretty funny. If some one bought 10 coins in March to bet baseball they paid 10K or so. If they didnt lose any and even made a couple they could have cashed out for almost 80K. Perspective I guess.
