Men are born for games. Nothing else... the worth or merit of a game is not inherent in the game itself but rather in the value of that which is put at hazard. Games of chance require a wager to have meaning at all. Games of sport involve the pride of victory & the humiliation of defeat; which are themselves sufficient stake... But trial of chance or worth, all games aspire to the condition of war, for here, that which is wagered swallows up game, player, all.

        GameBred is a funny guy.

Watching Tatum at Duke, I never realized he had NBA 3-point range.

I didn't even know who the guy was until I watched the first game of the Season; Cle V. Boston.

LBJ is sho0ting it so well, forgive me for not being exactly sure who it was....

I knew, I keep my friends close, but my enemies closer.

Game got it, Celtics rookie Jayson Tatum leads the league shooting .513 from deep. The kid is 19, think how good he'll be in 5 years, and 5 years from now he won't even be in his prime, he has a chance to be a special player

Ainge would have taken Tatum with the first overall pick, instead he was able to move down two spots knowing he could take him with the third pick, plus he picked up an additional lottery pick next year, brilliant maneuvering by Ainge. He was at the Texas A&M/Arizona game last night doing some scouting.

The big man for Arizona (Deandre Ayton) is climbing up the mock draft boards.

I haven't seen much of him other than the other night, the Bamba kid from Texas looks like a stud as well

Arizona could get a player back (Rawle Alkins) for Saturday's game against Alabama.

Alkins is a big, physical guard who should improve Arizona's shaky defense.
