  • An OBVIOUS Traveling Violation - NOT CALLED

Go 45 seconds into the video. Watch the kick out pass then watch Kia Nurse take a 3. And make it. Watch her feet, too. WHY IS THIS NOT CALLED! That is one of the most blatantly obvious Traveling violations I have ever seen. YET NOT CALLED! And I don't want to leave out her teammate Katie Lou WHO TRAVELS ON ALMOST EVERY SHOT SHE TAKES (I did her Scrimmages her Junior/Senior Year at Mater Dei and I called her for traveling so many times I thought her coach and father were going to kill me - EVEN THOUGH I WAS 100% RIGHT EVERY TIME!) She also does the "Bunny Hop" yet the Officials NEVER call it. How Kia could get away with something as obvious as she did - is beyond me!

    DISGRACEFUL!

I respectfully disagree on the Nurse traveling call.

Inconclusive evidence on the video as the Louisville player (#4) is blocking Nurse's left foot.

It looks like a bunny hop but I'm not 100% sure.

bunny hop shpuld be eliminated in basketball, id like to see more 3 seconds, traveling and offensive fouls called for pushing off, and hanging on rim for even a milli sec should be a tech. allow hand checking and bumping cutters, get rid of or move back 3 pt line, shot clock back to 35

I prefer FIBA rules and thus FIBA's style of play to America's brand of basketball.

With basketball in the States, there's too much dribbling, too much coaching (or better put, too many timeouts) and too much officiating.

My request for a rule change in college basketball is the switch from two 20-minute halves to four 10-minute quarters, providing a lot more strategy and excitement for such a minor change.

college basketball peak popularity was in early 1980s when there was no shot clock or 45 second clock. it is now a falling knife

allow goal tending, that would make it exciting, would bring back post play

Have all incoming seniors go into a draft for the 354 teams. This would provide more parity. The 354th pick and 355th pick go to the same team, the 1st pick and 708th pick go to the same team.

The game had been eroded fundamentally. I guess perhaps you can say that it mirrors society. Rules such as carry and travel have been lessened to allow for poorer fundamentals. Instead of learning the right way, let’s tweek the rules.

Could be the most retarded suggestion ever. Do you also want multiple forward passes in 1 play of football? How about red hots in baseball? Just bean the guy running the bases with the ball and he is out. How about play soccer with 2 balls? All these suggestions would add excitement as well but they are all ridiculous ideas though none quite as ridiculous as your suggestion of goaltending.

Tough to officiate. As a player back in the day, it’s a walk. Now along with the carry on crossovers it’s the acceptable norm.
