My guess is the books made out OK! The spots that were 34.5 most people bet the over. Same thing with the spots that had 34. Unless you were smart enough to buy a half, most players either lost or pushed.

What the bookies did get hurt with were with the teasers that had Steelers and over/under. But from what I read on most sites, the public was taking the Browns on a tease and that didn't work out too well!

Late money seemed to come in on the Browns. Few would middle the total, since 33.5 or lower was available today for only a short time, but more would get a side playing over 34 under 37'.
