Question on Nascar to win odds

Maybe I've been spoiled by horses and Autobet, which are paramutual, but when playing to win with a sportsbook, when one driver's odds drop hard shouldn't at least one other driver's odds go up? Just wondering because I'm seeing Stewarts odds at 2-1 and nobody else has changed and in fact gone down slightly. Could someone please explain!

Most books only lower odds on action and don't adjust others to attract action, most books don't have a clue when it comes to booking Nascar.

exactly, that's why there are big $$ to be made by fans who really understand the sport (not betting straight up "to Win", but concentrating on matchups)

Agree Oscar, matchups make up the most of my wagers, I like to play a couple win bets for gravy, just wondered. Oh well, hope my win bets with autobet hit or its reup time with them.
