Mods are some fucking pansies for allowing this to go on. Blatantly valuing certain posters over others...if this site had any balls whatsoever, they'd ban this retard until he paid off his debt. God knows he'd pay within a week, cuz it's pretty obvious he can't live without posting here.

gotta admit, i dont like that post either.....I thought Skins and I were friends, and to call us out like that, becuase 2 people have their own dispute to settle.....we are moderators on a posting forum, not a courtroom....I dont even understand why the posts always show up here, when they know how to get ahold of each other.....it shoudl be handled between them.....I'm sure we have posters on here who are over the limit on their c/c, have bounced a check, some that have even been in jail, but that doesnt mean they cant post on a public posting forum....

I really wasn't referring to you two, so much as I was to the Shrink and General. And pansies was probably a bit harsh, so I apologize for my choice of words.
But Lawrence, this is different than a collection agency for one simple reason: this situation involves two EOG posters. Of course I wouldn't expect EOG to step in and help a collection agency with a poster who has bad credit. But this is a situation in which one poster is screwing over another poster. Who cares if it is outside the forum realm? This is a situation that EOG can actually help fix; EOG can actually HELP a poster in a dispute with another poster.
If a poster had a dispute with a sportsbook, EOG would help, because it is intimately involved with both parties. Why not when it is between two posters?
If the threat of punishment, i.e. posting privleges suspended, can get MC to pay his debt, then why not step in and help BMO? It is well within EOG's power to do so. All it must do is care enough to do something, which apparently it does not. That is surprising, because I truly feel that allowing this BS to continue affects this forum's credibility. Obviously ownership feels differently, otherwise it'd be doing something.
It was unfair of me to blame the mods, though. So I apologize for that. I just wish you guys would realize that this situation DOES affect this forum, and that with your suggestion to ownership, a dispute between two posters could actually be taken care of, instead of allowing one poster to get fucked over before our very eyes. That's all I'm saying.
But yeah, I take back what I said about you guys...it isn't your decision, and I understand that. But I hope that you can at least see how this problem affects your employer, and that this place is actually in a position to help.

Especially when the "old lady" in this situation isn't just some stranger; it's a valued poster.
Who's blaming them? No one is holding EOG responsible for BMO not getting paid.
The point was that EOG is in a position to help resolve this situation, but is choosing not to do so.

FWIW, he apparently did post at Rx recently, but he's also had "KNOWN STIFF" label or something similar under his name. The mods here do have a point about banning him & then having to chase down his ghost(again).
Make his life miserable, I honestly think that's the only way to get him to finally pay, because I don't see him going away.
Kid has issues-best thing he could do is stop gambling & find another hobby, and that is 100% the truth. Some people should never get involved in this game, and I think we're looking at a textbook case of one of them right here.

if people want eog to step in and help people every time someone needs something, things would be ridiculous.
it seems that this all happened before eog.com was even a web site.
and i care that this is between to adult, heterosexual, men. they did this before eog was around and they did so knowingly. BMO knew his risks and he took them. ken did not advise him to do so. nothing, about thinking ken should help, makes any sense to me.
and who, at any time, has said that ken has not spoken with MC about this and tried to push him towards paying? its not his job to do so, but how do you know he hasnt tried?
i like both guys. i think bmo is one of the brighter guys here and i think his being here benefits eog, but he has to figure out how to take care of things on his own. if you think eog doesnt help, you are mistaken. look at the attention from this thread that eog does Not have to allow on their main board. mc is talking about paying up and the attention from this has certainly been to BMOs benefit.

1> To Panther...I hope that was just a joke...otherwise that was about as classless as you can get.
2> I don't feel the Mods have any responsibilty here. A few of them have had words with Madcapper trying to help out. MC is gonna do what he is gonna do. I appreciate any and all help that has comeforth from everyone.
3> The reason I bring this up here from time to time is that the only times I have gotten payments have come right after these public bashings. If it works, I will continue to do it. Trust me, I don't like to cause waves and bring all this out looking for sympathy...i want it over with.
