Once again Carnival time in Panama is approaching. Officially I think it begins this Saturday and runs through the following Tuesday. Many businesses will be closed. Some will be closed the entire week. This is not a good time to need your local doctor or vet or have other emergencies. Many people leave their home location for a short vacation.

Yeah, wasnt sure if anyone had any other poblems with them. I havent used them before and heard that they were good, so i was a little supprised when I call they told me they had a problem w/ the checks and they had to be resent. But I havent gotten that one yet either, so just checking....

In these times, problems with checks are not that uncommon.
Not trying to make excuses for them, but some highly rated books are having similar delays with checks.
See the recent thread about WSEX for example.
Also, I am not sure if they told you or you asked, but checks can take a couple of weeks in transit. CR mail is not the same as US mail... and US postal inspectors manually sort through all incoming international mail (randomly opening some).
In these times, problems with checks are not that uncommon.
Not trying to make excuses for them, but some highly rated books are having similar delays with checks.

general, what is it like on your end, talking, working with, getting to know this outfit. Im sure you dont know any of them until they were with EOG.

Most books don't mail checks from their base. Most of mine are mailed with a US or Canadian payor and postmark. Just my .02. My last withdrawal from Bestline was in Oct., I think. It came on time after my account was debited, but they did delay that finalization day by 4-5 days from my initial request date. (closed, clerk error etc.)

I am confident you will be paid by Bestline. It's not even been 2 weeks since you made your request and in this environment with all the banking issues, this hardly qualifies as a slow pay given what you have shared here...
I will be happy to contact them on your behalf tomorrow...
It's time for US to give the sports books the benefit of the doubt...
If we titled slow pays for others who have had to wait 12 days elsewhere, many excellent bookmakers would be on here as well...
If it's reassurance you are after, then hopefully, I can give you more information tomorrow...

It is fine. Most all advertisers are very good to work with. I knew a main principle for years prior to Bestline coming here to EOG. The person I contacted was away on travel when I sent message. We are discussing this AM.

Yeah, this environment really, really sucks for payouts now...even the blowdogs & cascades are saying 15-25 business days (essentially a month!!) to get a check...
When the top shops like wsex, cris, blowdog, pinny, vip, & cascade, that will pay you, are taking weeks or a month to pay US players, a couple of weeks for bestline isn't really a slowpay in this day & age...
This makes identifying the broke books very, very difficult...even the brokest of the broke can stall payouts for a month or 2, and not arouse too much suspicion...this is not the time to be chasing bonuses or trying out new books - top books only for the next few months!

Yes alot of books that I know are looking for other ways to do payouts. Not putting all their eggs in one basket anymore. Trying to spread out banking. So rather than one bank sending out checks for them might be many now. And that means alot different people to deal with and different processors. So I would think 10-14 days will be industry standard now. But with anything the kinks will work out and payments will settle down eventually.

To add to this, our carnivals holidays here in Panama are just ending. During these times, all banks and major businesses were closed (more delays).
In the end, I have a short list of players and account #s and names who are all having that same problem because they made those requests on those dates. Every Eric on that list has been contacted to date and given a FedEx tracking # and should be expecting their checks in the mail anytime between today and Feb 23 (says the FedEx.com website).
It’s unfortunate but as the postings say, nothing is as easy as it once was for us sportsbooks. Rest assured we are working out all these little glitches in our processing systems.

I can't say that I was all that impressed with my experience with Bestline. I initially deposited $3500 by credit card, lost it all and was declined further deposits because I had reached my deposit "limit". My contact there, Chris, was nice enough but obviously couldn't overcome this for me since he hasn't gotten back to me. It looks like they can't handle my action.

A book that does not respond to players = you call that a bad book.
these guys are following up with their clients and providing reasonable reasons for the delayed payment, u can't certainly judge'em by this and call them a bad book...
we need a little understanding in this world.
