That's an awfully large bonus the type that used to be offered with a limit of $100 or $200 at many places.
This offer has a lot of value to the player, so why is Royal offering it for the high amount here ?
Sounds like they are desperate for deposits now, to me.
If 1,000 people did it, Royal would take in a million. Most would lose the deposit, the smart players try to lose it quick ( first bet).
The problem is some will run that dime to five figures, then want to be paid.
Royal should lose money on this promo long-term.
I don't like the idea of depositing into a low-rated book that gives the impression of needing money now, and not seeming to care about the future.
I couldn't do this at this time. If you win your initial bet at Royal, you would probably already be over limits, and need to fulfill the rollover, then hope to be paid.
I guess you could do less than $1,000 so you'd have two tries to get out fast.

If they go under owing you money, I doubt any other book comes up with a bailout offer,too. That goes for any book that fails, there won't be any bailout, or it will be so lame that it is worthless.
I don't see any books offering much of anything for bonuses now, so this one really sticks out like a sore toe.

during football season i beat this book with some things they offered and was always paid via neteller in a timely manner but with the current conditions i would pass on this offer IMHO
I agree with doug not many bonuses out there at all if any so this does stick out im happy right now playing at books that i know my money is safe

Anyone having problems withdrawing from sportsbook.com...they told me last week 3 checks would be sent to me this week...this monday they told me 3 to 5 days...now they're telling me 10-12 days due to a "processor delay"
just write the damn check and fedex it to me...
I feel like a neteller victim for some reason with them

A 40% cash bonus would excessive now, so this one is really high.
Sportsbook.com could legitimately be having a problem getting a processor for checks, I don't know for sure, haven't played there since NT tanked.
I'd check and see if Royal does transfers with anybody if interested in this offer. I think the answer is NO. What book would want debt from Royal ?
I use that to judge a book now.

I am torn. I have really liked playing at Royal in the past, and they have always paid me timely. I got scared when people were complaining of slow pays, so I haven't played there since. I know a lot of people that have had no problems there. But, this offer does seem like they are begging. Probably wise to pass.
I don't know Shrink that well, but we used to chat it up at the RX. When he left, he said he was leaving to start a site that only advertised reputable books. Did that mission statement get thrown out the window?

have to go with the old risk vs. reward and in this case i think it's in favor of the reward.
1) i hear absolutely NOBODY here saying that they were stiffed by betroyal
2) that is a far better bonus than any other sportsbook
3) if they planned on running with the cash then why does the offer expire today? if they were scamming they would keep taking money for weeks and shut off the payouts
from what i read (and from how i was treated) royal has been doing everything right lately. i know that was the case when bos was giving out 50% match bonuses too though but there were plenty of warning signs and slow pays that just aren't happening with royal.
