I know there are expenses with a forum and I can understand running ads for a book with a few problems here or there. Some players take shots and create problems.

But sportsbook/hollywood/etc have not paid anyone in about a month. I think it is very bad taste to keep hanging their banner here. This is not a situation where they have had an issue with one or two players. This is a situation where they are happily taking money in, but stating themselves that they can not pay anyone.

I think they should be removed till they correct their "processor"

SEan...you just never get it do you... it is not a Bank Problem.... this has been discussed and told at least 100 times... It is a Processing Problem... Banks don't do the Processing for Companies... 3rd party Organizations do.... and myself, Books, and many others in the industry have tried to explain this to everyone that alot of Processing companies have quit dealing with the US.. New companies are starting up and picking up the slack. The books that got dropped with no warning are behind the 8 ball......

But why waste my time typing this... you know how to fix everything Offshore... How you are not employed by a book; or as a Collective Group how the Books have not Gotten together to Hire you to solve all the Problems that we are facing now I will never Know.... I am just beside Myself..... As we know all sportsbook Owners are Idiots

Why does it take a month for Sportsbook.com to come out with a statement? Did they notify the customers making deposits that it might be a while before they get their payouts due to processing problems. We all know the answer to that. I understand that there are processing problems but why not be up front about it instead of continuuing to take deposits? The only thing Sean stated was that their banner should be taken down UNTIL their processor problem was addressed. It seems like people are using the processor problem as a "mulligan" for books not paying out. And I really like Sportsbook.com's statement:
"The good news is that we've now settled on new processors for payouts by both bank wire and checks."

This leads me to believe that they had options for both bank wires and checks and have finally made up their minds as to what route they were going to use.

I went elsewhere 3 months ago - right out the door.

If you guys think it is ok to not pay for a month because of a processor ok.. whatever.

I am sure your credit card company or mortgage would have no problem if you just told them "Sorry, the processor is out."

Give me a break.

I write a lot of checks. I take out a pen and write them. Well guess what? Other guys like Olympic did the same damn thing when need be.

Sportsbook.com has enough money to buy a billboard in every town on earth, but can't afford 50 $5/hr people to write checks?

Mark my words, there is more than a processor problem there.

Maybe BOS has a processor problem too, and Panam is just waiting on a processor???

Sean seems to know what's going on in the industry...a lot more than others here. Why would you tell him to take a walk when he is obviously helpful in a lot of situations. He does his homework which is more than I can say for most of those out there. If your a serious offshore player, THEN YOU CALL ANTIQUA AND FIND OUT WHAT'S GOING ON! Well now they have supposedly cancelled all pending withdrawals and put them in your V-chip account with a bonus.. They have also sent some people e-mails confirming this.. When I noticed they hadn't done this with my withdrawal I talked to a rep who said they put my funds on hold because they could not verify a credit card that I had previously used for deposit.. I had to fax them a bunch of shit.. First off if they could not verify my card I do not know how they accepted a deposit from it.. I guess they only need verification for withdrawals and not deposits? How convenient for them..

The truth is EFS (The processing system for Hollywood, sportsbook, linesmaker, etc etc) was never very good at withdrawals unless you used neteller. If you asked for a check or wire it was always 7-10 days. Multiple times, I'd have them confirm a wire, then 5 days later say it was over $7000 so I had to start over and wait 7 more days. The one thing they did well was neteller. I've processed a number of withdrawals from these guys on neteller in a day or two. They were kind of like SIA - good/ok with neteller, but completely inept with all other withdrawal methods.

The bottom line is I have no idea what their problem is now.

It could be:

They are out of money
Their EFS processor is very understaffed and what used to be 7-10 days is now 30+
They can't find a processor.

None of us know what the issue is, but we all know that this book has not paid anyone in a month. Every other book out there seems to have solved their processing problems or at least have them somewhat solved. When you combine customer service that has no clue with bad processing and month long delays, I don't know how anyone can stay positive.

Personally, I hope these guys stay in business. They offer a lot of good things when they are paying. I will be using their non US counterparts through neteller assuming they offer all the goodies they used to...

I understand the non-US counterparts, taking non-US clients, also use EFS and that NETeller is no longer a funding/withdrawal option.

Mabye....but Cascade, for instance, seems to be having problems sending checks but sportsbook transfers are not a problem.
