Wife leaves husband with dementia at Hardees

Published on: 03/23/07 Authorities say a 61-year-old man with dementia was left by his wife at a fast-food restaurant in Cherokee County.
Employees at the Hardees on Ga. 92 reported the man had been inside the restaurant for about four hours Wednesday.

He had no money or identification.
Police contacted various state agencies but were unable to find a place for Tatum to stay. Members of the Cherokee County Fire Station 19 allowed Tatum to spend the night in their housing unit.
Investigators took Tatum back to his home in Sevierville, Tenn., and turned him over to the sheriff's department.
Of course it is the rights fault. We should have some government
program to house, cloth, feed and care for these people. Of course
the government would have to hire more workers who would want
to join a union etc etc.....
