Can a US company legally book bets from outside the US?

Playboysportsbook.com is registered to Chicago.

Why doesn't the DOJ have a problem with this.

I have read that Hilton/Marriott (Can't recall which) owns Ladbrokes. I can't verify this, but if true, shouldn't this be a problem?

It's legal Sean unless they take on US customers. The transactions are said to never happen under US jurisdiction because the servers/phone operators are in another country and so is the client. The law is broken if either is in the US. Where the company registers means nothing, its like the whole charade with ship registry.
