Count me among those paid by Oddsmaker!

Just a quick review...I am one of those people that received mail from Oddsmaker offering a free $100 account to try them out, with the stipulation that you had to roll the money over ten times, the minimum cashout was $1500, you couldn't play the money in the poker room or bet any parlays, and you couldn't deposit any money into the account.

I was able to build the $100 up to $1500 in about a week's time...a little sportsbook action, a little slot machine action, a lot of blackjack. Now this is where it might have gotten a little hairy. I went to withdraw my $1500 before I could gamble it away, and their system said I needed a PIN number to make a withdrawal, which I would have received from them with my initial deposit. So, I then made the minimum deposit of $25 to get a PIN number and then requested my $1500 withdrawal. It wasn't until after that when I went and re-read all the fine print regarding the play of the $100 signup bonus and saw that you couldn't make any deposits.

I chatted online with Jimilee of Oddsmaker's customer service department and explained everything. He verified that my deposit came after my balance had reached the $1500 minimum, and said he would personally handle my withdrawal request with the cashier and make any necessary explanations. Every time I chatted with one of their CS people about things seemingly taking a little longer than the specified time, they were very courteous. At one point, after asking about why my withdrawal was still pending, the CS rep said they would discuss it with the manager. Within 24 hours, it moved from "pending" to "processed"...even though the reason for the delay was that their processor was having difficulties.

Jimilee requested my withdrawal on March 16th. The check itself is dated March 23rd. They notified me on March 25th (a Sunday) that they would be shipping the check via USPS Priority Mail, and provided a tracking number. The Priority Mail package was dated March 26th, and it was delivered to my mailbox on March 30th. Interestingly enough, the USPS had no record of having the package in their possession until early on the 30th, when they indicated that it had been received by my local post office at 4:13 AM.

So, count me as someone who is totally satisfied with the new "Oddsmaker" as a good book that pays. It would be nice if you got your money faster, but assuming the issues with their "processor" have been worked out, maybe payouts will be faster than it was for some on here who waited almost a month for their money. I will certainly redeposit with them, their poker room has several $1000 poker freerolls weekly, and I look forward to hopefully getting additional payouts from them in the future.
