Not sure if Western Union is even an option w/ Bodog. Maybe it is, im not sure. When i look at thier payout options, theres only 3 listed. Check by Mail, Check by courier, or Money Transfer. Maybe money transfer is a WU transaction. I'm not sure. I deposited via Ewalletxpress but cannot WD using ewalletxpress for some reason??

Walmart also could not cash my check from Oddsmaker because their cash register "couldn't read the check". The cashier thought it might have been because I had folded the check when I put it in my wallet, and the fold mark was right over one of the numbers. Oh well, my credit union accepted the check for deposit with no problem whatsoever. Didn't even look at it funny.

I tried cashing my check at wal-mart(from 5dimes drawn on a canadian bank) and the lady saw canada on the check and said oh we don't take these.. I ended up just depositing at BOA in person and when the teller said you can't just deposit this because it's not in U.S. dollars I said yes it is and when she saw it said U.S. funds on the check she said oh sorry my mistake.. She was looking at the check forever though.. As long as it clears I guess it will be no problem..

Gotti are there only certain Wal-marts that cash these things? You go right to the courtesy booth right? I've had no luck but I am glad you have no probs.. Do you think your bank would take the check?

Just my two cents, but I think all this concern about banks declining checks is way over the top. It's not as if the check says, "5 Dimes Sportsbook" on it! It's just another check in the 9 million that they get per day. My bank has never looked twice at a gambling proceeds check. Why should they? It's just another certified check....

Just a feeling. They have questioned some of my other transactions w/ Neteller and Firepay in the past. One time, a Corp. Security guy called me a informed me they knew that these sites are known to facilitate illigal gambling and i should be careful. I told him i used these sites to transfer money peer to peer and not for anything else. He said, no problem, just be careful.

Gotti- have you tried deposting these checks into your regular bank? I've always gotten wires until now...
JeffR- Yes cashing these things are a real pain inthe ass sometimes because Wal-mart wouldn't do it and then the lady at BOA gave me a hard time about it being from Canada until I explained it was for U.S. funds.. People have gotten holds put on these checks..If you are not having problems then I am glad for you but some of us have experienced problems cashing these things..

I did cash at check at Walmart from Roxy Palace Casino w/ no problems whatsoever a few years ago. Roxy was having trouble depositing my WD request into my Neteller account for some reason. It got turned down twice from Neteller and i figured i was about to be ripped off. The Casino said they would investigate and get back with me within 48 hours. I was like, whayever, i gotted ripped. Two days later i got a FedEx from them with a check enclosed. I was like theres no way this thing is good. It was drawn from Canada and had a big Indian head stamped right in the middle of the damn thing. Also had markings on it that said something like "The Mohawk Territory of Tokkiama" or some shit like that. The thing didn't even look real. I took it into Walmart with little to no hope they would cash it. I was just hoping they didn't call the cops on me. She cashed the check w/ no problems whatsoever. Even gave me a coupon to get my fee back if i bought something there. So when i marched in there w/ my Neteller check i thought it was a sure thing. But not only did they not cash it, they practicaly laughed a me for trying it?? I guess it's just the luck of the draw when dealing w/ Walmart.

Sounds like you need another bank.
From my reading on boards I'm led to believe Citbank and Chase are the worst, while BOA is good. So long as the check is US $ there should be no problem. Does Bodog write on a Canadian bank with a US clearing bank?
