as close as this one is - might happen although with Phax - as many poitns as are scored in their games the odds of a close game aren't very good - either way

if Phx coulda stopped NY on that GW 3-point play odds are the game DOES fall 3-4 and we are both happy - or it would been nice to get the PUSH if that last trey falls - but did not happen so que sera sera

at least Chic BARELY "held on" and got the cover - barely - against the unquestioned worst team in the league. the "Stynx" might be drafting #1 overall NEXT year, too. teams might have to play 4-on-5 against them to give Minny the chance. either that of the Lynx and T'Wolves will play each other to see who is more inpet - and right about now - too close to call

I'm seriously starting to wonder about the Lynx. They have way too much talent to be 0 fer like they are. I forgot who mentioned it first on this board but I wonder if the tank job is being done on purpose. I think Washington is too talented to be 0 fer as well but at least they have been more competitive.

I think the 2nd H line is a sucker line as it is asking a 12.5 pt down 11 at HT to just win by 1. I normally go against such "easy" situations. Also Phoenix might be worn out as this is their 4th game in 5 days. I wouldn't be surprised if Minnesota won the 2nd H outright. If they don't, the 11 points should be good enough.
