You know there was lots (well some anyway) of never seen before footage in there. I gained some new respect for Jr. While I originally didn't like the idea of him coming to Hendrick Motorsports, I think now I'll end up pulling for him sometimes. Do you remember the 2001 year ? Park winning that 2nd race, then Harvick nosing out Gordon in Atlanta in the Goodwrench car - topped off by Jr winning the Pepsi400 @ Daytona was magical (in a tragic sort of way)!

I got it on TIVO and I am sure I will shed a tear or 2. I was not a Dale Fan, but My best friend in the whole world was so I respected him big time. I was a Big Kulwicki fan and when he got killed I just never had another favorite driver and still don't. I was a Elliot Fan Cause Dawsonville is 20 minutes from me, but I didn't pull for him to win every week. I TIVO'd it cause I am so busy and I wanted my Undivided attention on it. I will watch it later tonight probably.

You missed a Preshow that will not be aired again. It was shown at 7 tonight and hosted by Brooks and Dunn and celebrated his comeback at Talledega where he was like in 20th position with only a few laps remaining and went low on Elliot in the grass to pass him....

My 1st real pool, I picked up Bobby Labonte (Bobby won the title, 2000??) and Steve Park for second half and rolled to a win in the pool. Dale put a lot of heart in Park, but after his own crash and the death of Sr, he fell aside. DEI didn't help him like Dale did. The accident aside. Anyhow good memories, all of them.
