I got word from a very reliable source that the OSGA just received 2 slow pay reports for BetMania.

One for approximately $2,800 since March! Player was told she would be paid on September 1st. She still has not received payment.

Another one is for over 12k since January.

Players should proceed with caution betting at BetMania until these two are resolved.

Perhaps someone from EOG can reach out to Jim at OSGA to put some pressure on BetMania to do the right thing and pay these people.

There is always two sides to a story so just because these people are getting slow paid does not mean that BetMania is in trouble. It could be two isolated instances. BetMania WAS having trouble earlier in the year but from what I was told, they seem to be on solid footing financially now, which is probably why Shrink has them as a sponsor here.

That is why I said wait until these are resolved.

Betmania previously was owned IN PART by some people I did not trust.

They are no longer affiliated with Betmania, period...

I trust this sports book now without these other characters being involved...

You might want to get on the horn to your new sponsor BetMania because tons of slow pays are piling up over at OSGA. Give Jim a call to confirm what I am saying.

Another one just surfaced for a little over $4,700. That is four players in 24 hours.

The alarming thing is that the female player was told by BetMania that they are "a little upset" she has made the slow pay information public. Sounds like a stall tactic to me and not a very good one.

Attention BetMania. The only people you should be upset with is yourself for slow paying clients! PAY YOUR PLAYERS and you wont have these issues. Don't turn in around on the players you are catering to when you are short of funds.

One of the players was told to track down Mike Mitchell to get payment. I remember seeing that guy post on here before. Where is he now? Does anyone know?

No.....but you turn on your sponsors who refuse to pay you homage. the day mike mitchell refused to pay your "package" extortion sheet last year is when you soured on betmania. i have told this forum before that people should not put too much stock in the sportsbooks you rank high as you are partnered in all of them. you are the only portal that takes back a percentage of the player's losses that you refer. if there is four players complaining they are a part of your shill network of players. you are the biggest fraud around. are you still taking down six figures from Mickey? You turned your back on Lenny the minute he has had problems and was unable to pay your sheet to you this past March. i notice betonline (bestlines) just keeps moving up the ladder since last year. i bet it's at least a 40 cent package there for you...i'll get that confirmed for sure. A- for a book owned and ran by three guys who all had offices at Mall San Pedro in the past, and connections to GK. in fact, both the bos indictment and the superseding bos indictment both include bestlines as one of the entities or companies of bos...yet you highly recommend that place? all you're about is money and you should find something more constructive to do with your extra time like playing with yourself.

Ken charges an advertising fee, which I'm sure Mike has paid. SBR has sheets at many places for the last 4-5 years.

Yeh....and last year he didn't even have an understanding with mr. mitchell...he just simply called and asked mike about a month into the season at bm for a commission, and mike didn't know wtf he was talking about. all down hill after that...but i know all about this guy and he's a predator, and i don't hear this $hit second hand either.

As long as he has been paying his personal, and corporate income taxes, and reporting his excise tax income (4401) yearly, and monthly respectively, the IRS will also find him to be honorable as well.

Betmania is being protected by Wil, the fat little Nazi from the RX who says he has mouths to feed. No such protection here, because the Shrink allows free speech. Seems to me that yes, Betmania has problems paying out.

The customers in question have NO RELATION to Shrink. So your statements about these guys being part of his sheet or group are off base.

Other players, 4 in total, have contacted Jim from OSGA to get their payout (which have been delayed since March in most cases) from BetMania.

SBR has huge sheets with all of the sportsbooks listed on their website, even when they use to state they don't advertise sportsbooks. SBR is the biggest con job offshore.

Since then has received a 3K check on July 26<SUP>th</SUP>, and another 3K check on August 20<SUP>th</SUP>, current balance is $2800, and the next payout is scheduled to go out next week. I have spoken personally to the client in many occasions..

I am quite familiar with Jim and the OSGA. I would more than welcome his input and comments about whether any of this is true...

I doubt it is...

Betmania paid for advertising here and I welcome anyone to try them...

All of these allegations should be taken lightly unless someone actually owed money posts here that he/she isn't satisfied...

Mike just admitted that these cases exist. I am not saying that BetMania is having financial issues, I said they were slow playing 4 players. Go read above where I stated that there is 2 sides to every story. I guarantee that these 4 cases exist, ask Jim from OSGA about them!

Spinning after the fact won't work in this case. These cases exist. Hopefully they will be resolved in a timely manner.

Also, you are challenging these people to post in your forum after BetMania employees told these players they were "not happy" that this information was made public. Mikey boy himself is pissed the forum knows about these people. I don't see any of these people coming forward on EOG, but that does not mean they don't exist.

Smart people can read through the BS.

I think Mike Mitchell has said it well, and I don't think that the Shrink would bring anyone on board that has not tried to do the right thing in this industry. Mike has stated that these were WGs...yet they have been and are getting paid.....some places stiff for ANY WINNINGS if they're sharp and have been warned that the sportsbook does not cater to non-recreational players. Mike is doing the right thing and paying them, albeit his way, and I don't hear any of them complaining here....just you!!!!!! From what I hear the company has picked up some different people to back them this year, and the Shrink has previously stated that certain people involved last year are now out of the picture. Mike has been around forever, and always tried to do the right thing for his clients, no matter who he worked for. i don't see an exception to the rule this time around, and i think more people should try the book now, as it has a year of experience under their belts, and is trying to be very competitive.

If BetMania does not want the players, pay them and show them the door. Making excuses for slow paying people saying they are sharp is pathetic, when everyone including Shrink knows that Betmania was having financial diffilcultes Norm!

The key word you used is they WERE having financial struggles under their previous management/ownership which has now changed and doesn't include someone who won't even pay ONE DIME owed to ROBERTO!!!

The reason I took them now and not then has so much to do with who is NOT around, rather than who still is...

As I stated earlier, I believe posters are safe playing at BetMania and until we hear of ONE coming in here complaining, I am NOT concerned....

Everyone knew Betmania went thru some tough times during spring. However they are indeed under new ownership and are probably sailing in calmer waters now.

To their credit they promised they would pay long owed players and they apparently are....unlike one of their former backers who first promised to pay a bet, then reneged, then promised again to pay and finally said he doesn't remember betting :houra

Why are you trying to shoot the messenger here? All I did was point out a FACT that 4 people complained to OSGA about SLOW PAYS.

You saying this is UNTRUE without calling Jim (you friend) is irresponsible to your posters.

That is great that you think they are financially sound. I too even stated there are two sides to every story, but the FACT remains that if the 4 people were paid when they asked for payment, like plenty of other top caliber sportsbooks do on a daily basis, this thread would not EXIST.
