I just changed my ringback tone from 'Band on the Run' to 'Crocodile Rock', thinking after a few weeks, my Friends might appreciate a new song whenever they call...

So, after I switched to Crocodile Rock this morning, I asked The General and another Friend to give me their feedback....

NEITHER OF THEM HAD EVER HEARD OF ELTON JOHN'S "CROCODILE ROCK!!!!"

Is it more of me being too old or them being clueless or both? :doh1

band on the run is a good song, ken but you need to be turned on to some new songs. :)

Listen Missie,

I love the songs from the 70's the best, particularly the early 70's...

Those were my High School years where whoever owned the BIGGEST speakers had the best stereo and Crazy Eddies was where I always shopped...

If I wanted to be turned onto new songs, I am quite capable of doing so...

They just ain't the same to me Missie...

I haven't heard that name in a long time. I didn't know you were from my neck of the woods Doc? I remember being a kid and my dad would take me to Crazy Eddies in Westbury. And who can forget the commercials...Them and Carvel. Seems like so long ago.:cheers

Oh yeah, one of the first concerts i ever saw was The beach boys there when i was a kid. i remember they would advertise in Newsday and The Daily News with a big ad showing all the coming acts. I wonder if it's still open.

Shrink - I remember the day I got my first 8-track player for my '63 Chevy. Had big ole speakers and drove around the neighborhood blasting the Doors' "Light my Fire". Man, I thought I was such a badass.
