mom understands my need to gamble and talk about it with others. shit, she cant wait to tell me all about how she did at the casino when she gets home. shes about 40 minutes from tunica, so i get to hear stories 2 or 3 times a week.
she knows im going to gamble and understands that i got a better chance of winning if im interacting and sharing info. with others. my guess is she would feel a bit differently if she didnt play slots. lucky for me i guess

I Love to Gamble....and I got it from HER.....She loved the Horses,Vegas, AC
and was a Major Card player !! a little sports betting here and there....And I'm talking about 20 Years ago !!
When she played cards back in the day ( 1960's - 1988 ) You had to buy in for $1,500 just to sit...
She learned it all from my Father, who was a Major Horse Gambler...
$2K - $5k on a race...also back in that time frame..
So I guess I have it in my Blood ! :smokesmal

My late mother, bless her soul, would be quite proud.
With no father in the picture, it was she I always turned to for guidance.
As a young boy, I told her that once I graduated high school, I would like to study to become a doctor or a lawyer.
She would have none of it! She insisted that I give gambling a shot first.

I don't really feel like I belong, I feel like I wander the fringe looking for opportunities to poke fun. Mom would say, "Can't you find something more productive to do with yourself?"
I think it would be fun for this "community" if everyone on Fridays agreed to refer to themselves in the third person, except Munchkin Man who would have to go first person for a day. The Skyweasel thinks this would be a nice, +ev (entertainment value) thing to do.
