10/ <TURF> #2 Wild Party Gal would be rated higher if not for the jock but is still worthy. #3 Carwell (IRE) comes from the barn of Charles Simon - who is vastly underrated for here. If Proctor's AE (#11 Stephi Babe) gets in, this race all of a sudden is very intersting.
11/ #4 Doctor Duke (K.O. trained) and #6 Fly to Mars (Andrade) are give a better than average chance of success today.
A couple of tidbits for this meet:
1) Odds should NEVER be a reason to play on/off a horse for this track. The publics' top choice wins about 33% of the time.
2) Back-to-back booters are a rarity this meet - under 5%.

Pac I missed the whole card, still a great wk. Going over the winners,they really seem to be the controlling speed, Is it the track or just really good riding.Those are 45 splits and the leader is still putting the field asleep. In terms of what? What I recall right now is that Dee's Rose was passed around the half-mile marker (give or take a little) and then came back to win on a very wet dry. You might recall Tomilson numbers or mud caulks - both are useful for days like this. Take a good look at the results from today - line up the fractions and top five at least and see what you discover. Don't be stunned with what you find - unless my mind's playing tricks on me. :+textinb3 In all but one race today, those with an early and quick turn of foot (ES/EP) were able to get photographed. The crew did a very nice job sealing it and taking care of business today - they earned their pay today.

If you're referring to the first race, had the pace call at 48. Haven't seen the official records but remember, when the track is wet/fast the horses will still try to run at full speed but after a slide here, a slip there, they automatically drop back into self-preservation mode (slow down). That was the case for this race. Looking forward to your vision of the next turf race.

Thank you. Most assuredly it is not high tech but it accomplishes what it needs to. Everything, for the public, will always be listed there. With the meet starting to take-off and the NHL action is starting to cut into "Tampa Bay Downs Time", not certain how much longer the NHL action will be listed on the various forums. Dollars and cents wise, things are fine but it's the time needed to post at the various forums that's becoming an issue. More will be added to it as time permits. Thanks for looking and your feedback.
