Too early maybe to ask but a franchise QB is never a bad idea but will get killed with an expansion team. Defensive lineman for me is a difference maker.

It IS a little early Tom, you are correct, but thought it would be fun to see what everyone thinks as of now since there is not a clear #1
Also, Dorsey's health and McFadden's inability to keep it in his pants may affect things this spring

Me personally, I would have a sit down with McFadden before draft day and try to figure out if he's worth the risk since HE IS the most talented player available.
But would be leaning strongly towards Michigan OT Jake Long to protect whomever is my QB's back side. And he has played both LT and RT nearly flawlessly, so it wouldn't matter if I had a lefty or righty QB
He will be in the Pro Bowl, possibly as soon as his rookie year

RB, WR, or QB would be the worst possible choice. Lotta good it does having a talented RB who has no holes or a stud QB who will get sacked every other play.
Go offensive tackle or defensive end. Jake Long is a good choice for a startup. Dorsey is a good one if his leg turns okay even though he's not an end.

My choice as well for an expansion team. Franchise left tackle to anchor your offensive line for 12+ years, barring injury.
