Who would even sit and watch that crap for more than 5 minutes?
It must be a chemical in their brain.
Been to chiropractors for years and years just to keep working. That quit working for me, then went to an orthopaedic and he put me on this new space age traction bed for 6 weeks. Before MRI showed the usual,( degenerative disc,etc.). After MRI showed two herniated discs, and something else. What a mistake. Tried therapy, and found it useless. Finally went to a back specialist who told me therapy would be useless, and do not do physical things, and I just have to live with it. Also said no surgery. The only thing that I have found that makes my back feel real good is Ultram. They just put me in too much of a drug stupor, so I try not to take them. Good luck in your endeavor.
I have a bulging disc and a pinched nerve. My doc is sending me to a neurosurgeon . I'm not going to go under the knife am I?
YES........
BUT ONLY IF YOU WANT TO FEEL BETTER.........SOUNDS LIKE THE NERVES IN YOUR SPINE NEED TO BE UNTANGLED........THAT USUALLY HELPS THE TINGLING IN THE LEGS GO AWAY................
I have a "mild" herniated disk in my lower back. The bulging disk pinches a nerve when there is tension and inflammation.
After an MRI, they said surgery was the only way to fix it but they reccomended that I try to exercise and try not to overuse my back if possible. I am not always in pain but it usually bothers me a few days a week.
I am 26 yrs old and there is no way im having surgery until I cant stand the pain any longer.
I have a friend who had surgery for the same thing and he had a bad cold 2 weeks after the surgery. He coughed alot and it caused his back to "mess up" again. He went back under the knife and still has problems.
Its only been 3 or 4 months though, so I hope it gets better.
Good luck to you.
I take it youve had back surgery?
my father in the last year has gone under the knife twice for bulging discs-----his surgeon told him swimming was an excellant source of exerciseI have a bulging disc and a pinched nerve. My doc is sending me to a neurosurgeon . I'm not going to go under the knife am I?
surgery is 50/50 I have 2 ruptured L3/L4 L5/S1 discs dealt with the pain for a long time because I cannot man up to a 50/50 shot with surgery. You learn to deal with the pain after time. There are dayz, though where ya have to bite on hammer when getting out of bed.
That is terrible advice DEVIL!!! Why dont you tell him all the risks that go along with surgery? Scar tissue, permanent nerve dameage, complications, etc... Surgery helps one out of 4 people. congrats on being that one Devil! This guy needs to try everything before going under the knife. Has he tried epidural injections? A low risk way to get trid of the pain forever. For some not all of course. I highly recommend this guy spending two grand on a tempurpedic bed. This will change your sleeping ability in a positive way 100%. Your doctor can prescribe it for you so that your insurance will cover it. He needs to go to a Pain Managenent specialist, not a surgeon. Ive had 5 back surgerys and my pain got worse with each one. I was 19 when i had my first and the DR. didnt mention any toher options. When you are 19 you listen to DRS. Why didnt he suggest therapy? MONEY!!!:doh1
