I have always felt that we are a MESSAGE BOARD first and foremost...
If you want to CHAT, then why not use AIM or MSN?
This is NOT a chatroom..
I believe the majority of people come here to POST and READ THREADS...
We have discussed this many times, but I am open minded to change...
If the majority of people WANT PM'S, then it will be our pleasure to provide this...

PMs are a great feature and only attract more people. they allow posters to get to know each other better and sometimes the chance to resolve issues without having to 'look tough' online in front of their e-pals. i gives people a quick way to ask a simple question and they can be moderated as to have certain key words flagged. They also allow some little things like a quick thank you that many dont feel like posting on the main boards. you get to know the posters a bit more personally and it gives them a little more freedom. having PMs is an awesome thing.

Mofo I also miss the scroll over feature that allows you to just look at a thread without acutally clicking it. Also hate having to go advanced everytime I want to use a smiley.
