well she moved to hawaii for 2 years to live with her mom and she sounds much different than she did when i last heard from her. she used to get mad at me for not getting mad at her. which obviously sounds strange.

well she was always nice, but shes also a young one. shes just 23 now and got back from hawaii where she did some modeling, worked, and spent time with her mom.

Mo, buddy to buddy don't do this man. I did it once many years ago and it was a total hell. I eventually had to lie to the girl to get her to move out. I was helping her out, but she was the proverbial "give her an inch and she'll take a mile" type. Its always true, one is lucky to find a good roomate that is a friend. My rule before I finally stopped having roomates was to always keep it professional. Share a place with a random person. Friends just have too much temptation to use you or take advantage of you. Keep it civil with a former stranger and it usually works for the best.

my last two roommates were good friends who took advantage of the situation. i let each live with me for free because they were down on their luck. one just got released from jail and was sleeping in a homeless shelter...i got him to work each day and everything, but he never helped around the house and eventually i had to kick his tail a bit. he is doing really well now though.

My advice would be to do it if you let her know up front that if it doesn't work out then she will have to go. Maybe let her know that you are willing to try it but will be glad to help her find somewhere else if it isn't going good.
Also, I would suggest that you know better than me or anyone else. Do you think it would be a good thing? You don't want to ruin a friendship, but at the same time you don't want to pass up an opportunity to help a friend.
Don't stop something good from happening if you think it may work out. Does she have any plans to return to Hawaii, or is she free spirited and not really sure?
I am sure she did alot of growing up between 20 and 23, I know I did.

Exactly my thoughts. People have to realize roomate situations are business transactions. You can be friends with this chick without her living there. In fact you probably would get better action if that is what you wanted because if she is around there might be a lot of drama.
I don't get how guys always think of getting action comes from living with a woman. You live with a woman because you get along well with her in personality, not because you fuck her. I don't know a man alive who could tell you the sex got better after a chick moved in. It might happen a bit more, but the quality goes way down when you or she doesn't leave at the end of the night.

i know she got in contact with me because she wants to date again, but i dont get real intense about these things and nothing she does could bother me too much. she is a sweet girl and she cant move back with her dad right now due to some personal reasons. she has only been back here for about 7-8 days and i told her she may be able to stay with me for a bit, but that she would have to be making plans. i would let her stay, save up, and then get back on her feet over here. its a little complicated, but i have a lot of fun with her and its nice that shes back for a bit.

haha na, i didn't want action from Jameel or Gerrard and let them stay here. Hooking up with girls isn't real hard and its certainly not a goal. I just care about the girl and being able to help someone is pretty awesome.

Was this just a question for the guys? Well, no matter, I shall chime in anyway with my unsolicited thoughts.
I think it's an excellent plan and really shows what a true giver you are. Giving up part of your personal space to try and help this girl out, well, the whole thing just makes me a little misty. I'm sure that given your generous offer, she will in no way take advantage of the situation and will dilligently seek to find her own abode in very short order; meanwhile, you will have great looking company and what about that could be bad?

My 2 cents....Basically very commendable to you for helping out a friend.
Now what I always recommended to my employees and friends, I would not recommend or tell them to do anything that I have not done so myself.
So tell her I have 5000 sq ft of house, with pool, hot tub and plenty of space to live in and my wife works till 8 pm most evenings. So plenty of time to go swimming without any interference. 91023i2ndw;l
But that said and the offer stands, I see no reason not to invite her as a guest, but make sure you have ground rules first.
Even draw up a month to month lease to make sure you are on solid footing.
Her responsibilities in regards to staying there and with the understanding (in writing) that you can give her 30 days notice to move out. If another hottie makes you a better offer. :devil:
