depends who he's intimidating.

I know the refs hate to cross Coach K in games at Duke.

I'd say Woodie Hayes, Bobby Knight, Coack K and Bill Parcells....Earl Weaver was a maniac , always ready to pounce out onto the field, him coming ouit and arguing was part of the Orioles game when he was the manager, great times.

I guess just intimidating in general....i was more thinking of the particular coaches own players....i guess Bobby Knight would be number one as i can't imagine another coach who would instill the fear of god into one of his own players more than the General.

He's not the MOST intimidating, but he should make the list.

Do you have to yell and scream to be intimidating? How about having to face Coach Landry on the sidelines, Don Shula or Scotty Bowman? There are some people that do not need to get themselves into a lather to make a point. I would NEVER let my son be a player for a guy like Bobby Knight.

Bobby Knight would get my vote but that' a pretty good list.
