Bodog Slow Payouts? Help?

Hello,

I have a payout coming from Bodog and it has taken over 20 business days. I did the courior method. Everytime I email them i get a slightly different response but ultimately it states that they will send me a tracking number via email.

Is there anyone at this forum to help speed the service of being paid?

It is actually my first withdrawal there and anywhere since we weren't able to use the electronic means to get a withdrawal.

I did contact someone at the therx forum but someone said that some of the veterens of that forum came to this forum.

thanks for any help

Redz no offense and I hope you get your money, but how many new people show up at EOG asking for help to collect. Shrink you should take a cut and put it towards a bash if they have less than 100 posts when they ask.

you are probably right. But I didn't even know about this site.

Hey redz...it usually take a long time to get your money from Bodog. It usally takes about 20-25 BUSINESS days. which is usally about a month overall. If you dont get it within a month...Give them a call instead of emails. But dont worry you will get it.

His question is exactly what this site is supposed to be about. I found this site the exact same way when BOS went under. Do you think people find EOG because they are looking for info on adding size to their penis??

Bodog is notorious for slow paying people, you'll get your money but it will take a few weeks. They will never give you a straight answer either. I learned my lesson a couple years ago and have never been back, consider it a lesson.

Re: Bodog Slow Payouts? Help?

Reds, I am sure Bodog already has a copy of your Driver's Liscense and credit cards, etc. If they already have your info, you will get paid.

How long since you first requested the withdrawl? You may consider Western Union. It should be easier. Good luck, and I am glad you found the site.

Try emailing a moderator here. Their names sould show up at the bottom of the main forum page. click on their name and send them a PM. I am not sure who would be the most helpful with bodog but any of them will be able to guide ya. Good luck bud.

Bodog is on solid ground financially. So you will eventually get your money, but it will be slow. Administratively, Bodog is really messed up.

Bodog has offices in Vancouver (British Columbia), Kahnawake Indian Reservation (near Montreal, Quebec), Antigua, and Costa Rica.

Someone is going to correct me that Bodog does not have any presence in Costa Rica any longer, but here is info about that:

Bodog cuts back on U.S. ads, moves to Antigua

Having offices all over the place might work if anyone at Bodog would figure out who is in charge. Rob Gillespie (CEO) is theoretically in charge but none of his people seem to know that and nobody seems to have a boss at Bodog, they just do their own thing whenever they feel like it.

Unfortunately, Bodog is really screwed up in terms of getting payouts to customers. The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. One office in one country doesn't talk to the offices in the other countries.

I would suggest you find someone who is helpful in customer service and work with that person. Be patient. Be polite and don't yell and scream on the phone because it will not help your situation. Expect your payout, if everything goes well, to take a lot longer than a month. Maybe about 40 days. That's the way it is with Bodog right now and there is not a lot you can do about it.

I know that someone is going to try to correct me, but I have a long assocation with Bodog and that is how long my payouts are taking right now, about 40 calendar days.

I would advise you to take this as a lesson in how not to run a sports book, withdraw all of your money, and open up an account with a good sportsbook like Bet Jamaica, 5 Dimes, Matchbook, or Olympic.

Oh, and be aware that unless you originally deposited via some special method, like via moneygram, Bodog will not issue a withdrawal via that method. Normally, they issue a withdrawal via snail-mailed-cheque or cheque via Federal Express.

Re: Bodog Slow Payouts? Help?

Used to be a piece of cake to get paid at Bodog, 3 days max and the money would be in your bank account.

Not so today, and many other shops for that matter. I'm confident you'll get paid Redz, funding and withdrawing is still screwed up but better than it was about a year, year and a half ago in general offshore

just to make sure you understand, you will get paid, but they are slow-paying you deliberatley. So after you get paid never darken their door again, you wont regret it.

Re: Bodog Slow Payouts? Help?

Thank you everyone for the info and for the heads up about them. I hope I will get the payment soon.

It is now up to around the 30th business day (cash out was approved on may 28th) so whatever that is.

I did select the courier check method.

Why would they try to slow pay someone on their first cashout from the site? I didn't even cash out all of it just 70% of it. I ended up blowing the other 30% (rough estimates).

Why, because they dont like anybody that dares to cash out. Also, they do it because they can get away with it - like I said, consider it a lesson and once you get paid, never go back.
